Noem calls for ‘full travel ban’ on countries ‘flooding’ US with immigrants after DC attack

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced Monday that, following a meeting with President Donald Trump, she is recommending a sweeping travel ban on every country she claims is sending dangerous immigrants to the United States.

Noem made the announcement in a fiery post on X, denouncing certain immigrants as “killers” and “leeches.” She stated, “I just met with the President. I am recommending a full travel ban on every country that’s been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies.”

She slammed certain immigrants as threats to public safety and accused them of draining resources meant for Americans.

“Our forefathers built this nation on blood, sweat, and the unyielding love of freedom—not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, suck dry our hard-earned tax dollars, or snatch the benefits owed to AMERICANS,” she said. “WE DON’T WANT THEM. NOT ONE.”

The announcement came after law enforcement officials reported that an Afghan immigrant allegedly attacked two National Guard members last Wednesday in Washington, D.C., just blocks from the White House.

This incident has heightened concerns about immigration policies. According to Noem, the Afghan suspect involved was “radicalized” after arriving in the U.S.

SJSU volleyball team fails to make conference tournament in first season after trans athlete scandal

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! It was always going to be a tough act to follow. San Jose State University’s volleyball team was eliminated from making the Mountain West Tournament with a loss Saturday to University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and finished the season under . 500 with a 13-16 overall record and 8-10 in conference play. SJSU outperformed expectations, finishing seventh in the Mountain West after being expected to finish 11th in the conference’s preseason coaches poll after a controversy involving trans athlete Blaire Fleming in 2024. SJSU previously made the conference final with Fleming in 2022, the trans athlete’s first year with the Spartans under former head coach Trent Kersten. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS. COM The controversy involving Fleming resulted in two lawsuits during the 2024 season, a federal investigation by the U. S. Department of Education and a mass exodus of players. At least seven of the team’s returning players from 2024 entered the transfer portal in December after the season ended. The controversial 2024 season included eight forfeited matches, regular police protection, national scrutiny and internal turmoil between players and coaches. Kress previously said the 2024 season was one of the “most difficult” of his life. Kress is 21st in NCAA women’s volleyball history in wins as a head coach. “This has been one of the most difficult seasons I’ve ever experienced, and I know this is true as well for many of our players and the staff who have been supporting us all along. Maintaining our focus on the court and ensuring the overall safety and well-being of my players amid the external noise have been my priorities,” Kress said. EX-SJSU STAR BROOKE SLUSSER MAKES NEW ALLEGATIONS ABOUT PROBE INTO TRANS TEAMMATE’S ALLEGED PLOT TO HARM HER Kersten was the coach who recruited Fleming to SJSU as a transfer out of Coastal Carolina. Kersten then stepped down after the 2022 season and was replaced by Kress. Former SJSU co-captain Brooke Slusser transferred to SJSU from Alabama in 2023 Then, in September 2024, Slusser joined a lawsuit against the NCAA alleging SJSU officials withheld knowledge about Fleming’s birth gender from her and other players on the team. Slusser alleged she was made to share changing and sleeping spaces with Fleming without knowing that Fleming was a biological male. Slusser, along with several other players in the Mountain West, filed a separate lawsuit against the conference and San Jose State in November 2024 over Fleming’s presence. That lawsuit included testimony from former San Jose State volleyball players Alyssa Sugai and Elle Patterson alleging they were passed over for scholarships in favor of Fleming. Assistant coach Melissa Batie-Smoose was suspended by the program in early November after she filed a Title IX complaint against the university for showing favoritism toward Fleming over the other players, especially Slusser. Batie-Smoose’s complaint also included allegations of Fleming’s plot to have Slusser spiked in the face. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE.

Trump expected to sign crypto regulation bill

The U. S. Senate Banking Committee will vote in December 2025 on comprehensive cryptocurrency market structure legislation, according to committee Chair Tim Scott on a recent television interview The Bill seeks to establish a unified regulatory framework for digital assets and would formally designate Bitcoin and Ether as digital commodities under the jurisdiction of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, according to draft text of the legislation. The designation would resolve a jurisdictional dispute between the Securities and Exchange Commission and the CFTC over oversight of digital assets. The proposed legislation includes requirements for cryptocurrency exchanges to segregate customer funds, implement conflict-of-interest controls, and provide enhanced disclosures. The provisions address vulnerabilities exposed during the collapse of exchanges including FTX, according to the bill’s framework. Scott stated he plans to advance the legislation to the full Senate in early 2026 if the committee vote succeeds. President Donald Trump is expected to sign the bill into law, according to legislative projections. Bipartisan negotiations continue Bipartisan negotiations remain ongoing, with regulation of decentralized finance platforms emerging as a primary point of contention. Democratic lawmakers have expressed concerns regarding money laundering risks and systemic vulnerabilities associated with DeFi protocols, according to sources familiar with the discussions.

Illegal Alien Released by Biden, Charged in Hammer Attack on Texas Jogger [WATCH]

A Texas woman is recovering after authorities say she was attacked with a hammer by an illegal immigrant who had previously been released by the Biden administration despite multiple arrests, as reported by Fox News. The incident occurred in Plano on Nov. 13 at Bob Woodruff Park, according to FOX 4. Police responded to a report of an assault at approximately 5 p. m. When officers arrived, the victim told them she had been jogging in the park when an unknown man struck her with a hammer at least twice. She fought back, and the suspect fled the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. This Could Be the Most Important Video Gun Owners Watch All Year Investigators identified 17-year-old Sergio Noe de Nova Duarte as the suspected attacker after locating several items at the scene, FOX 4 reported. Police recovered the hammer allegedly used in the attack, along with duct tape and additional undisclosed items. Duarte was taken into custody, and according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), immigration authorities placed an arrest detainer on him. DHS said Duarte has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and bodily injury. Federal officials said Duarte originally entered the United States in 2016 on a B2 tourist visa and was ordered to return to Mexico later that same year. According to DHS, Duarte has a substantial criminal history, including arrests for burglary and larceny in 2024. Following his 2024 arrests, DHS said the Biden administration released Duarte with a notice to appear before an immigration judge in 2026. He remained in the country pending immigration proceedings. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin issued a statement after the Nov. 13 attack, criticizing the earlier release. “This criminal illegal alien should have never been loose in our communities to attack this woman jogging in a park with a hammer,” McLaughlin said. “Following this illegal alien’s arrest in 2024, the Biden Administration released this criminal illegal alien back into our communities. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE lodged an arrest detainer to ensure this criminal illegal alien is never able to prey on innocent women in our country again.” Plano police have not yet released further details regarding the investigation or whether additional charges may be filed. DHS did not disclose whether Duarte is expected to face immigration court proceedings before resolution of the criminal case. The victim has not been publicly identified, and authorities said she is expected to recover.

Zohran Mamdani-Style Socialist Living Off Mommy and Daddy’s Money Officially Wins Seattle Mayoral Race

A radical leftist who has been financially dependent on her parents has officially won the Seattle mayoral race, unseating the moderate liberal incumbent. As Fox News reported, 43-year-old Democratic Socialist Katie Wilson defeated Seattle Democratic Mayor Bruce Harrell in an election that took over a week to determine.

Harrell initially led on election night, but his lead disappeared over the following days as more ballots were counted. He conceded on Thursday as the final vote totals guaranteed a win for Wilson.

Following her victory, Wilson released a jubilant statement:
“This campaign was driven by a deep belief that we need to expand the table to include everyone in the decisions that impact their lives. That is what we will be working to do every day as we set up this new administration.”

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Wilson was on track to win after building a seemingly insurmountable lead. Like newly elected New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani, Wilson—who operates a small left-wing nonprofit called the Transit Riders Union—has faced criticism for her radical political platform.

Wilson will now lead the city of 750,000 residents, the largest urban center in the Pacific Northwest.

### Wilson’s Policy Plans for Seattle

According to Fox News, Wilson has proposed policies similar to those of Mamdani, including implementing government-run grocery stores. She pledged to explore the option of government-backed grocery stores if elected, after receiving endorsement from UFCW 3000—the largest private-sector union in Washington representing grocery workers.

Wilson has also vowed to “Trump-proof” the Emerald City, signaling a more progressive and activist approach to city governance.

### Background and Controversies

A closer look at Wilson’s background reveals some surprising details. Previously, she proposed defunding the police. In June 2020, following the George Floyd protests, Wilson introduced a “Solidarity Budget” which would have reduced the Seattle Police Department’s budget by 50%.

“There’s a strong argument for simply disbanding police departments and starting over,” Wilson wrote in an op-ed at the time.

Despite her political ambitions, Wilson cannot currently afford to live in Seattle on her own. She depends on financial assistance from her wealthier parents, particularly to cover childcare costs.

“They send me a check periodically to help with the childcare expenses,” Wilson explained to local outlet KUOW, noting that daycare for her children costs about $2,200 per month.

KUOW also reported that Wilson dropped out of college just six weeks before graduating from the University of Oxford in England. However, she remains debt-free thanks to support from her parents.

As Wilson prepares to take office, Seattle’s future under her leadership promises significant changes—and certainly, ongoing debate.

Political reporter who had alleged romantic relationship with RFK Jr speaks out

You can now listen to Fox News articles!

The political reporter who reportedly had an alleged romantic relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the campaign trail is speaking out about what she said happened between them.

She loved his eyes, “blue as the flame.” She admired his insatiable appetites and his “particular complications and particular darkness,” The Times profile began. “But she said ‘I love you’ only after he said it first. He called her ‘Livvy’ and wrote her poems. He said he wanted her to have his baby. He promised to take a bullet for her.”

She told The Times she hasn’t spoken with Kennedy in over a year and declined to weigh in on his job in the Trump administration. On what came over her, she joked, “Maybe it was the vaccines.”

A representative for Kennedy did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. A spokesperson previously denied any sort of physical relationship had occurred and said he had only met Nuzzi once.

Nuzzi has maintained that she never had a physical relationship with him but did engage in “personal” communications. Kennedy remains married to actress Cheryl Hines.

The alleged “sexting” scandal led to the end of Nuzzi’s engagement to Politico’s then-chief Washington correspondent and Playbook co-author Ryan Lizza (he has since left the outlet).

New York Magazine dismissed Nuzzi following the revelations and conducted a probe that concluded it found “no inaccuracies nor evidence of bias” in her work.

In September, Vanity Fair announced it had hired Nuzzi as the magazine’s West Coast editor.

Meanwhile, Cheryl Hines refused RFK Jr.’s offer to fake separation during the heated presidential campaign.

Grandmother allegedly kills 5-year-old grandson while driving impaired in family driveway

A Louisiana grandmother was arrested Wednesday after allegedly running over and killing her 5-year-old grandson while driving impaired.

Kristen Anders, 55, of Slidell, is charged with vehicular homicide, according to the Slidell Police Department. She was granted a $50,000 cash surety bond.

Just after 7 a.m. Wednesday, Slidell Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of Spartan Loop for a report of a car hitting a young child in a driveway. Officers learned that Carson Lawson, 5, was waiting for the school bus in the driveway, standing in front of Anders’ 2016 GMC Yukon, which was backed into the driveway, when his grandmother allegedly ran him over.

Anders was not aware that Lawson was outside at the time of the crash and immediately stopped the vehicle when she realized she had hit something, Slidell Police Chief Daniel Seuzeneau said during a news conference. It remains unclear if Lawson was standing or sitting in front of the car before the incident.

Seuzeneau confirmed that the 5-year-old had two siblings who attended the same school and were “in the vicinity” during the tragedy.

Police noted that Anders “exhibited signs of impairment” immediately following the crash. Officers determined that she was under the influence of alcohol and central nervous system depressants.

“I spoke with the victim’s mother several times today, and there isn’t anything that I can say to make her feel any better or make this situation better,” Seuzeneau said.

The investigation is ongoing. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Rob Gronkowski to officially retire from NFL with ceremonial one-day Patriots contract signing

Rob Gronkowski Officially Retires from the NFL, Signs One-Day Contract with New England Patriots

Rob Gronkowski has officially announced his retirement from the NFL and will be signing a one-day contract to retire as a “Patriot for life.” Gronkowski revealed on “FOX NFL Sunday” that he plans to ink the one-day contract with the New England Patriots this week, allowing him to retire as a member of the storied franchise where he won three of his four Super Bowl rings.

The announcement came just as the Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—the last team Gronkowski played for alongside Tom Brady and with whom he won Super Bowl LV in 2021—were set to face off. Brady joined the broadcast team for that contest alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

The Patriots officially announced that Gronkowski would sign the one-day contract on Wednesday afternoon, ahead of their “Thursday Night Football” matchup against the New York Jets, their AFC East rivals.

Gronkowski, 36, began his NFL career in 2010 when the Patriots drafted him 42nd overall in the second round out of the University of Arizona. He spent nine seasons in New England, developing one of the best tight end legacies in NFL history. His connection with Tom Brady was a critical factor in the Patriots’ success under head coach Bill Belichick, leading to multiple Super Bowl victories.

Although Gronkowski initially retired following the 2018 season, he returned to the field when Brady left the Patriots for the Buccaneers. He couldn’t resist the chance to play again alongside his favorite quarterback in Tampa Bay. With a star-studded Buccaneers roster, Brady and Gronkowski won their final Super Bowl together in 2021. Gronkowski notably scored two touchdowns at Raymond James Stadium, helping secure a 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs and claim the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

After retiring following the 2022 season, Gronkowski was soon joined by Brady, who retired in 2023 after the Buccaneers’ playoff exit against the Dallas Cowboys.

Now, as Gronkowski and Brady continue their careers off the field as colleagues on the Fox Sports broadcast team, they’ve been closely watching the Patriots return to their winning ways — reminiscent of their days with the team. Veteran Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel is leading the charge in his first season.

The Patriots also have a promising new quarterback in Drake Maye, whom they selected third overall out of the University of North Carolina in the 2024 NFL Draft. Maye has been performing like an MVP candidate, helping the team achieve an 8-2 record through their first 10 games. He ranks third in the NFL in passing yards (2,555) and is tied for third in touchdown passes (19). Maye’s impressive 113.9 quarterback rating also places him sixth in the league.

Gronkowski’s official retirement and one-day contract signing mark the end of an era, but the Patriots’ future looks bright as new stars rise to continue the franchise’s tradition of success.

BBC director-general and UK news chief both resign over Trump speech editing scandal

**BBC Director-General Tim Davie Resigns Amid Controversy Over Edited Trump Speech**

The BBC director-general, Tim Davie, resigned on Sunday following criticism over the broadcaster’s editing of a speech by former President Donald Trump, which many said was misleading.

Davie, 58, who has been at the helm of the BBC since September 2020, stepped down after five years leading the corporation. His departure comes amid growing controversy surrounding a BBC Panorama documentary about Trump’s January 6, 2021 speech, delivered shortly before the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Critics argued that the documentary’s edit was misleading because it omitted a key section of Trump’s speech where he urged supporters to protest peacefully.

The speech at the center of the dispute featured Trump saying, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” However, the version aired by the BBC reportedly excluded this line, while retaining the phrase “fight like hell.”

In a letter to staff, Davie stated that his resignation “is entirely my decision.” He acknowledged that “overall the BBC is delivering well, but there have been some mistakes made and as director-general I have to take ultimate responsibility.”

Davie added that he is “working through exact timings with the board to allow for an orderly transition to a successor over the coming months.”

The resignation of Davie follows that of Deborah Turness, head of BBC News and Current Affairs, who also stepped down amid the controversy. Turness said the situation “has reached a stage where it is causing damage to the BBC, an institution that I love,” adding, “As the CEO of BBC News and Current Affairs, the buck stops with me.”

Pressure on the BBC intensified after excerpts from a whistle-blower dossier were published by The Telegraph. The dossier, compiled by Michael Prescott, a communications advisor hired by the BBC to review its editorial standards, criticized various aspects of the broadcaster’s coverage. Specific concerns included the Trump edit, reporting on transgender issues, and alleged anti-Israel bias in the BBC’s Arabic service.

In response to the allegations of bias, Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt described the BBC as “100% fake news” and a “propaganda machine” in an interview.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Leavitt said: “This purposefully dishonest, selectively edited clip by the BBC is further evidence that they are total, 100% fake news that should no longer be worth the time on the television screens of the great people of the United Kingdom.”

Trump Says Democrats Are Kamikaze Pilots Amid Longest Government Shutdown in U.S. History [WATCH]

President Donald Trump drew a sharp comparison between congressional Democrats and World War II kamikaze pilots during a Wednesday breakfast with Republican senators at the White House. The remarks come as the government shutdown stretched into its 36th day, marking the longest in U.S. history, according to Fox News.

“I think they’re kamikaze pilots,” Trump said. “I just got back from Japan and talked about the kamikaze pilots. I think these guys are kamikaze. They’ll take down the country if they have to.”

The President’s comments followed his recent trip to Asia, where he met with Japanese officials before returning to Washington amid continued deadlock in Congress. Lawmakers remain unable to reach an agreement on a short-term funding measure to reopen the government, which partially shut down on October 1 due to disagreements between Senate Republicans and Democrats.

At the center of the dispute are healthcare provisions tied to the continuing resolution (CR). Republicans have accused Democrats of attempting to insert measures that would extend Affordable Care Act subsidies while rolling back parts of Trump’s 2017 tax and domestic policy legislation, which reduced Medicaid eligibility for non-U.S. citizens.

“It is Democrat-created, but I don’t think they’re getting really the blame that they should,” Trump told the senators. “The government must open soon.”

Democrats have denied the charge, insisting their goal is to permanently extend certain Affordable Care Act subsidies set to expire at the end of 2025. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer reiterated that position Tuesday, saying his caucus would not support a funding bill that excludes those provisions.

“The only plan Republicans have for healthcare seems to be to eliminate it, and then to tell working people to go figure it out on their own,” Schumer said. “That’s not a healthcare plan. That’s cruel.”

Trump also told Republican lawmakers that he believes the ongoing shutdown contributed to recent GOP losses in Tuesday’s elections, including gubernatorial contests in Virginia and New Jersey.

“Exactly one year ago, we had that big, beautiful victory,” Trump said. “But I thought we’d have a discussion after the press leaves about what last night represented and what we should do about it. And also about the shutdown and how that relates to last night.”

“I think if you read the pollsters, the shutdown was a big factor. Negative for the Republicans, and that was a big factor,” he added.

Despite calls from the White House to pass a stopgap measure, Senate Democrats have continued to block Republican efforts to fund the government without including new healthcare spending. Negotiations are expected to continue through the week.
