We don’t know who Sadie Sink is playing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but she will reportedly reprise said role in Avengers: Doomsday. When Avengers: Doomsday shifted its release date to the end of 2026, it was suddenly coming out after Spider-Man: Brand New Day instead of before. With how interconnected the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become, there are a lot of little things that have to be adjusted when the order of release changes as well. One of those changes is who is going to make some sort of appearance in Avengers: Doomsday. We know the entire day hasn’t been revealed yet, but despite the hours-long chair hell, they’ve been rather quiet about confirming more cast members. However, other cast members are being low-key confirmed as they promote other projects. Sadie Sink has an unknown role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and is currently making the rounds for the final season of Stranger Things, but Deadline is reporting that Sink will be reprising said unknown role in Avengers: Doomsday. Now, a reminder that reprising the role doesn’t mean she’s going to have a significant part. There will be cast members in Avengers: Doomsday, including top-tier talent, who will appear on screen for mere minutes and wrap up their roles in just a few days. That’s the nature of the beast when it comes to these massive productions with cast lists this long. It turned out that the reports were spot on, and in July 2024, they were announced as the directors at San Diego Comic-Con. That was also where we learned that Robert Downey Jr. would be coming back as Doctor Doom, and it became very clear that Marvel was playing it safe by returning to what worked the first time. At the end of March, over the course of five and a half hours, Marvel announced a large portion of the Avengers: Doomsday cast, which includes, along with already confirmed Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, and Pedro Pascal. The inclusion of previous X-Men characters is more proof that Marvel is taking steps back instead of forward. The stream was also an announcement that the film had entered production. Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars is set to be released on December 17, 2027.

Party leaders in the Israeli opposition are in an uproar over the prospects of Saudi Arabia acquiring F-35 fighter jets after President Trump announced his intention to sell the advanced warplanes to Riyadh. “I will say that we will be doing that. The national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, when asked about the prospects of Saudi Arabia acquiring F-35 jets, told the Jewish News Syndicate: “We are in the Middle East we cannot get confused. We extend a hand to anyone who truly wants to extend a hand and not harm the State of Israel, but we must preserve our superiority.” Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich echoed Mr. Ben-Gvir, telling JNS that he was “confident, with God’s help, that Israel’s security superiority will remain, in all aspects.” “It’s a matter of national security and our dialogue with the Americans. How to maintain Israel’s advantage and security superiority; that’s what is being discussed behind closed doors,” Mr. Smotrich added.

Dutch Valley tree lighting returns with music, film and cocoa

Dutchman Hospitality Group will host its second annual Christmas tree lighting at the Dutch Valley campus in Sugarcreek on November 14, starting at 5:30 p.m., according to a community announcement.

This free event will feature cookies, hot cocoa, and take-home activities for children while supplies last. Guests can also enjoy a live nativity with animals from Sunset Acre Farms and holiday music performed by the cast of Ohio Star Theater’s upcoming production of *A Christmas Carol*.

At 6:15 p.m., attendees will gather for a candle lighting ceremony before the campus lights up for the season.

Following the tree lighting, there will be a special screening of Angel Studios’ animated film *King of Kings* at Ohio Star Theater. Tickets are $12 for ages 13 and up and $8 for children. Proceeds from the screening will benefit Safe Harbor Ohio.

“After the positive reception by our community and guests last year, we are excited to kick off the Christmas season once again by bringing the campus and our 2026 Christmas tree to life,” said Mike Miller, president of Dutchman Hospitality Group.

Cubs Let $10 Million 2-Time All-Star Walk in Free Agency

The 17-year career of two-time All-Star Justin Turner, widely praised for his clubhouse leadership, may have reached its end Thursday when the Chicago Cubs declined his mutual option.

While they briefly pulled off a wild rally, their defense fell apart at the worst possible time, allowing the Bears to secure a 47-42 victory.

Although the offense has been moving the ball well with Joe Flacco under center, the defense simply cannot get stops. This situation has created quite a challenge for head coach Zac Taylor.

### Coaching Changes: Zac Taylor Stands Firm

There has been significant finger-pointing following this loss, prompting Taylor to address his coaching staff’s future. Despite the struggles, Taylor announced that he does **not** plan on making changes to his coaching staff.

Entering the 2025 season, it was clear the Bengals could face defensive issues. With so much investment in offensive stars like Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins, the front office had limited flexibility to improve the defense during the offseason. I’m so excited for it. Sakurai could make a game about a trash bag and somehow find a way to make it amazing. The amount of love that has obviously been poured into this game is incredible. I was excited at the announcement, more excited after the first direct, but this might be my most anticipated game now after the second direct—even over *Beyond*.

President Trump Perfectly Handles Nasty Reporter Shouting at Him About His Nuclear Plans During High-Stakes Trade Summit with Xi Jinping (VIDEO)

President Trump on Wednesday evening addressed a contentious moment with a reporter who shouted questions about his nuclear plans during a trade summit in South Korea with China’s President Xi Jinping.

Speaking from South Korea shortly before his meeting with Xi, President Trump announced that the United States will begin testing its nuclear weapons on an equal basis with Russia and China. Despite the tense international context, President Trump entered the trade summit confident, though he acknowledged that China’s Xi Jinping is a tough negotiator.

“I think we’re going to have a deal. I think it will be a good deal for both,” Trump said. “The world is watching, and I think we’ll have something that’s very exciting for everybody.”

During the summit, a reporter interrupted with a loud question: “Mr. President, why did you change your nuclear plans?! Why are you doing more nuclear testing?!”

President Trump swiftly dismissed the press pool, responding calmly, “Thank you very much, everybody,” and continued without missing a beat.

Later that evening, President Trump boarded Air Force One and returned to the White House.
