Travel safety tips as millions hit the road for Thanksgiving

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — As people gas up their cars and get ready to travel this Thanksgiving, some drivers are concerned with safety on the road. “I’ve seen a lot of drunk drivers. I’ve seen accidents happen in front of me. It definitely makes me nervous, especially when you have children,” said Fresno resident Daniel Thompson. On Wednesday evening, the California Highway Patrol said it will begin its maximum enforcement period for the holiday. “We want to be visible to slow those drivers down. And to also be vigilant for those unsafe drivers out there that are causing most of the problems out there,” said CHP spokesman Mike Salas. AAA is predicting a record number of people traveling by car this year. Driving experts say that after properly inspecting your vehicle, there are things you can do to stay safe while on the road. “If you’re at a stop sign and the fog is really thick and dense, you’ll want to roll your windows down and you want to hear for the traffic, right. That’s going to be one of your biggest clues, if you can’t see, you wanna be able to hear,” said Learn 2 Drive Center’s Jonathan Vargas. When it comes to poor weather conditions, Vargas said using road reflectors and proper headlights can make all the difference in safety. He also encourages people not to let anything distract them while driving. “If you are driving in the fast lane, you want to be careful in case you have a drunk driver coming on the opposite side of the freeway, coming in the wrong entrance. And they’re gonna think that the fast lane is the slow lane. So, you wanna make sure you’re being aware of that,” said Vargas. He said it is the season of giving. So, try and give that extra space to other drivers on the road. You don’t want to get into a road rage incident and not be able to enjoy the holiday.

“So sorry”- Rhea Ripley issues an apology following heartbreaking personal update

Rhea Ripley’s Upcoming Appearance Canceled Due to Injury

Rhea Ripley, the former WWE Women’s World Champion and one of WWE’s top superstars, has canceled an upcoming appearance outside the company. The news was confirmed after Ripley took to social media to apologize for the cancellation.

Over the past few years, Ripley has been highly active in WWE’s international tours, including recent shows in Australia and Japan, where she competed in nearly every event. However, during a match at the Tokyo house show on October 18, she suffered a nose injury and was assisted backstage.

As a result of this injury, Ripley was forced to cancel an in-store appearance at Hot Topic in Irvine, California. Hot Topic shared the update on their Instagram page, which Ripley reshared along with a heartfelt apology to her fans.

“So sorry to everyone that paid to meet me at Hot Topic 😔 Hopefully we can reschedule and I can meet you all!” she wrote.

Rising WWE Star Kendal Grey Expresses Desire to Face Ripley

At just 29 years old, Rhea Ripley has quickly become one of the most prominent members of WWE’s roster and a dream opponent for many female wrestlers.

Kendal Grey, the recent Evolve Women’s Champion, spoke about her interest in wrestling Ripley someday. “One person I would like to eventually wrestle would be Rhea Ripley. I think she’s so bada** and she’s so cool,” Grey said.

She added, “With her size, and obviously, I’m a little bit smaller, but I think with my technicality and my speed, it would be a cool little matchup. (Who wins?) I mean, I’ve got to bet on myself, but I think I’ve got some work to do before I get into the ring with Rhea, for sure.”

Recent Feud with The Kabuki Warriors

Recently, Ripley has been involved in a heated feud with the Kabuki Warriors. She teamed up with Iyo Sky to defeat Asuka and Kairi Sane at WWE Crown Jewel. However, the heel duo took revenge on Raw by attacking Ripley after her match against Kairi Sane.

Fans will be hoping for Ripley’s speedy recovery and a rescheduled appearance, as well as more exciting matches in the near future.

Making a yearly income of $75,000 seems like a good deal, but is it really enough? Do you know how much you have and owe at the end of each pay period? Or are you wondering: **$75,000 a year is how much an hour?**

In this article, you will find out how much $75,000 is hourly, daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly. We will also factor in several other variables that affect your income and offer some tips on how to live within your salary. Read on.

## $75,000 a Year Is How Much an Hour?

A $75,000 yearly salary translates to approximately **$36.06 or $36 an hour**.

To calculate this, first find the total number of hours worked in a year. Assuming you work full-time:

– 5 working days each week
– 8 hours per workday
– 40 hours per week (5 days × 8 hours)
– 52 working weeks in a year

Total working hours per year = 40 hours/week × 52 weeks = **2,080 hours**

Then, divide your annual salary by total working hours:

“`
$75,000 / 2,080 = $36.06 per hour
“`

If you have a part-time job working 4 hours a day instead of 8, your total annual pay will also be halved to $37,500. With 1,040 working hours per year (4 hours/day × 5 days/week × 52 weeks), your hourly rate remains roughly the same:

Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2026 confirms dates & venue change

We still have the Game Awards 2025 to look forward to at the end of the year, but Geoff Keighley is already looking ahead to Summer Games Fest 2026 as well. With the show returning next year, Keighley has also announced that it will move venues. Instead of the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, the event will take place at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, with the event taking place on the first weekend of June 2026. Keighley announced the details of Summer Game Fest 2026 on his social media this week. Officially, Summer Game Fest 2026 will take place on June 5, 2026, running live from the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California. It isn’t much more than a hop and a skip north from the original venue, although Hollywood Boulevard’s commonly bustling activity could make logistics a bit more of a pain. Nonetheless, that’s the current plan for Summer Game Fest 2026. Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest has become somewhat of a growing staple when it comes to summer game reveals and coverage. In the absence of an E3, which hasn’t been around in over five years, Summer Game Fest has grown to fill the gap and provide a flag ship event on top of which many developers and publishers show off the latest projects they’ve been preparing for launch.
