We still have the Game Awards 2025 to look forward to at the end of the year, but Geoff Keighley is already looking ahead to Summer Games Fest 2026 as well. With the show returning next year, Keighley has also announced that it will move venues. Instead of the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, the event will take place at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, with the event taking place on the first weekend of June 2026. Keighley announced the details of Summer Game Fest 2026 on his social media this week. Officially, Summer Game Fest 2026 will take place on June 5, 2026, running live from the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California. It isn’t much more than a hop and a skip north from the original venue, although Hollywood Boulevard’s commonly bustling activity could make logistics a bit more of a pain. Nonetheless, that’s the current plan for Summer Game Fest 2026. Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest has become somewhat of a growing staple when it comes to summer game reveals and coverage. In the absence of an E3, which hasn’t been around in over five years, Summer Game Fest has grown to fill the gap and provide a flag ship event on top of which many developers and publishers show off the latest projects they’ve been preparing for launch.
