Analysts See Trump’s $2,000 Dividend as the Most Bullish Liquidity Event — Plan Could Inject $3 Trillion into Crypto

**Trump Proposes $2,000 Tariff Dividend for Most Americans: Potential Impact on Crypto Markets**

The Trump administration is floating a new policy that would redistribute tariff revenues collected by the U.S. government directly to American citizens. If implemented as planned, these payments—set at a minimum of $2,000—could see a portion funneled into cryptocurrency investments, according to financial commentator Sumit Kapoor.

**Trump Announces $2,000 Dividend Plan**

Donald J. Trump recently announced a plan to distribute a dividend of at least $2,000 to most Americans, with higher-income individuals excluded from eligibility. The announcement came alongside a robust defense of his economic policies, especially his use of tariffs as a central pillar of U.S. trade strategy.

Trump’s “distribution to the people” concept isn’t entirely new. He first mentioned the idea during an October interview with One America News Network, suggesting payments between $1,000 and $2,000. At that time, he noted the proposal hinged on resolving the ongoing government shutdown, which as of today, has extended into its 40th day.

**Trump Defends Tariff Policy on Social Media**

On his Truth Social account, Trump vehemently defended his tariff policy, stating that those who oppose it are “FOOLS.” He declared that the U.S. has become the “Richest, Most Respected Country in the World,” highlighting “Almost No Inflation” and a “Record Stock Market Price.” Trump also pointed to the growth of Americans’ retirement savings, reporting 401(k) values at their “Highest EVER.”

He further argued that tariff revenues are enabling the U.S. to take in “Trillions of Dollars” and maintain a strong economic posture, claiming these gains would help pay down the nation’s “ENORMOUS DEBT, $37 Trillion.” He cited “Record Investment in the USA,” including new plants and factories, as proof of his economic success.

**A Liquidity Wave for Crypto?**

The potential economic ramifications of Trump’s dividend proposal have sparked swift analysis, particularly within the cryptocurrency community. Sumit Kapoor noted on X that, if enacted, the dividend could serve as a “bullish liquidity event for crypto.” Kapoor drew comparisons to the 2020-2021 stimulus checks, which coincided with a massive rally in digital assets. During that period, $1,400 stimulus payments aligned with Bitcoin’s climb from around $30,000 to more than $65,000, as retail traders invested excess cash in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and various altcoins.

Kapoor estimates that if even 20% of the proposed dividend capital found its way into the crypto market, it could inject approximately $125 billion in fresh liquidity. Given the crypto sector’s sensitivity to new capital inflows, Kapoor suggests this could boost the total market capitalization of digital assets by $2.5 to $3 trillion.

Currently, the total cryptocurrency market capitalization stands at $3.59 trillion, with Bitcoin representing 59% market dominance and Ethereum about 12%.

**Tariff Revenues Reach Record Highs**

According to U.S. Treasury Department data, the federal government collected roughly $195 billion in tariff duties during the first three quarters of this year. However, much of this financial burden has ultimately been shouldered by American consumers, as the average effective tariff rate climbed to 18% by mid-October—the highest since 1934.

**Related Congressional Proposal: The American Worker Rebate Act**

In a related development, Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) introduced the American Worker Rebate Act of 2025 (S. 2475) on July 28. This legislation seeks to distribute rebate checks to American workers and families, funded by tariff revenues. The proposal calls for payments of at least $600 per adult and dependent child, meaning a family of four could receive a minimum of $2,400.

**Heavy Snow, Ice, and Strong Winds to Impact 13 U.S. States; National Weather Service Issues Winter Storm Warnings**

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued winter storm warnings across 13 states in the U.S., warning of heavy snow, ice, and strong, gusty winds expected from Sunday night through Monday, and in some areas persisting until Tuesday. Accumulations could reach up to 15 inches in certain regions.

### Why It Matters

A combination of accumulated snow, high winds, and ice is anticipated to create hazardous conditions. The NWS warns residents in affected counties that their morning and evening commutes may be disrupted. Blowing snow will reduce visibility, making many roads slippery, dangerous, and in some places, impassable.

### States Under Winter Weather Warnings

The following states have been issued winter weather warnings:

– Tennessee
– North Carolina
– Virginia
– Illinois
– Indiana
– Michigan
– Pennsylvania
– Ohio
– New York

Wintry weather is expected to continue until Tuesday morning. Swain County may see up to 2 inches of snow in the valleys, with 4 to 10 inches above 3,500 feet, and over a foot above 5,000 feet in the Smokies. Winds over 45 mph could cause blowing snow, reduce visibility, and lead to power outages.
Ashe, Watauga, and Avery Counties might experience gusts up to 45 mph and up to 4 inches of snow. Graham, Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties are forecast to get up to 3 inches in valleys, 2 to 6 inches above 3,500 feet, and 10 inches on the highest peaks along the Tennessee border.

#### Virginia and West Virginia
Parts of Northeast, Northern, and Southeast West Virginia—including Northwest Pocahontas, Southeast Randolph, Western Greenbrier, and Southeast Webster Counties—could accumulate up to 8 inches of snow with winds up to 45 mph, reducing visibility until Tuesday morning.
Ritchie, Wirt, and Putnam Counties may see up to 4 inches by Tuesday morning, while Western Grant and Western Pendleton could receive up to 6 inches with winds reaching 40 mph. Bland, Smyth, Tazewell, Mercer, Summers, and Grayson Counties might get between 1 and 3 inches, with winds gusting between 40 and 45 mph.

#### Illinois
Several parts of Illinois are expected to experience localized lake-effect snow, leading to varying conditions over short distances. Kankakee County could see up to 8 inches of snow in the hardest-hit areas, with snow falling at rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour until noon Monday.
Central Cook, Eastern Will, Northern Cook, Southern Cook, and Lake Counties may face intense lake-effect snow with accumulations up to 10 inches near Lake Michigan. Snow rates could exceed 3 inches per hour, accompanied by winds up to 30 mph causing blowing and drifting snow.

Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha Counties could see up to 5 inches, with the NWS warning of rapidly deteriorating travel conditions later Sunday into overnight hours due to low visibility and slippery roads.

#### Maryland
Western Garrett County is expected to get 3 to 6 inches of snow by Tuesday morning, with winds up to 40 mph.

#### Maine
Parts of the Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Far Northern, and North Woods regions could experience ice and up to several inches of snow by Monday morning.

### What People Are Saying

The NWS shared important information about lake-effect snow:

> “During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather, visibility, and road conditions.”

NWS Pittsburgh posted on X:

> “Scattered snow showers continue today, with heavier bands developing this afternoon and evening. The most impactful accumulation is still expected north of I-80 and in the ridges. The high-end snow amount potential has decreased elsewhere.”

### What Happens Next

Residents in impacted areas are urged to:

– Monitor the latest weather forecasts regularly
– If travel is unavoidable, slow down and drive cautiously
– Carry extra supplies in vehicles, such as flashlights, food, clothes, and water, in case of emergencies

Stay safe and take necessary precautions as this winter storm moves through.

George Kittle Doesn’t Hold Back After 49ers Lose to Rams

The San Francisco 49ers turned in a rough showing in Week 10, dropping a 42-26 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on November 9 at Levi’s Stadium. The Niners’ offense struggled to keep pace throughout the contest and couldn’t match the opposition’s firepower.

### Bright Spot: George Kittle’s Performance

Despite the loss, one of the few bright spots for San Francisco was tight end George Kittle’s performance. The veteran pass catcher recorded nine receptions for 84 yards and one touchdown.

While the loss drops the 49ers to third place in the tight NFC West, Kittle remains optimistic. He believes the team can still go on a deep playoff run thanks to key players expected to return in the second half of the season.

“I think we’re incredibly talented and we still have guys on offense coming back,” Kittle said postgame (h/t 49ers Web Zone).

“Brock Purdy is an amazing quarterback and that’s why we paid him so much money,” he continued. “Whenever we can get Ricky and hopefully at some point Brandon back, we have a lot of talent on this offense. I thoroughly believe that we can score a ton of points, and I really do also believe that our defense will just get a little better every single week.”

Kittle acknowledged the challenges the defense has faced. “They’ve just been taking haymakers year-round with all the injuries. But (defensive coordinator Robert) Saleh is such a good coach that he’s going to bump those guys up. They’re going to get some stops and we just have to continue to score a lot of points and not turn the ball over.”

### The 49ers Remain Hopeful in the NFC West Race

With a 6-4 record, the 49ers currently sit in third place behind the Seattle Seahawks and Rams, who both hold 7-2 records. With the division race this close, every loss stings a little more.

Still, cornerback Deommodore Lenoir is not backing down from the fight for the division.

“Tough game out there,” Lenoir told reporters postgame (h/t KNBR). “I feel like it was a lot of miscues with just us as players, not on the coaches, because they put us in the position. We just gotta come down and make those plays.”

“I feel like a lot of stuff went right for us today, but we can’t dwell on it,” Lenoir added. “We got to bounce back. We’re 3-1 in the division, ready to take it over still.”

### Can the 49ers Offense Improve?

Given the injuries to several key players, Lenoir and the defense have endured a tough stretch. Because of that, Kittle feels the offense must take charge in the coming weeks.

He’s confident that if they perform to their potential, the offense can help keep the team on track while the defense recovers.

The offense showed promise in the win over the Rams earlier, putting up 26 points as Mac Jones threw for more than 300 yards. But Kittle still sees plenty of room for improvement.

“I mean, we started the game off with a punt, a fumble, a fourth-down turnover, a touchdown, and a punt,” Kittle said. “Since I’ve been back, our team is going to have to rely on our really good veteran offense to score a lot of points and not turn the ball over.”

He continued, “We didn’t really do that today, so that’s going to be the case moving forward. Our offense has to play at an incredibly high level. We have to score a lot of points, and we have to not turn the ball over.”

Kittle remains hopeful about the defense’s progress. “I think our defense is going to get better and better throughout the weeks because we still have a lot of young guys, and a lot of guys missing. But we have to help out our defense. That’s just the way the season’s going to go.”

“Our offense has to play at a high level — be efficient, not turn the ball over, score points, and score in the red zone,” Kittle concluded. “Then we’ll win a lot of games. But if we’re not doing that, that’s going to happen.”

China lanza una visa para atraer a trabajadores tecnológicos extranjeros

Por CHAN HO-HIM
BEIJING (AP)

Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers owns missed throws in brutal SNF loss to Chargers

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive struggles under prime-time lights continued on Sunday night as quarterback Aaron Rodgers struggled through a 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

Nearing his 42nd birthday, Rodgers finished 16-of-31 for 161 yards, with one touchdown, two interceptions, and a 50.6 passer rating—his lowest of the season. His 51.6% completion rate was his worst since 2020, and the 50.6 passer rating ranks as the fifth-lowest of his career in a full game.

Rodgers admitted after the game that several throws missed their mark. “A lot of stuff wasn’t working. We were bad on third down. I was just a little bit off, missed DK [Metcalf] early, could’ve been a big play. Little high to Jonnu [Smith]. But yeah, we didn’t run the ball super effectively in the first half. I missed, obviously, some throws, for sure. And then we weren’t getting guys open and couldn’t put it all together. Times guys were open, I missed the throws that I usually make.

“Our defense played really well tonight. Offensively, we were pretty bad. So, we’ve got to find a way to get open on third down, I’ve got to find a way to hit ‘em, because that was just some bad ball.”

The Steelers started the night with early energy. Kicker Chris Boswell converted a 59-yard field goal—his 50th career 50+ yard kick in 60 attempts—giving Pittsburgh a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter.

However, momentum shifted when Rodgers fumbled in the end zone on a third-and-7 snap from the Pittsburgh 9-yard line. Chargers’ Khalil Mack recovered the ball in the end zone for a safety, cutting the Steelers’ lead to 3-2.

The first half proved to be a nightmare for Pittsburgh’s offense. Rodgers completed just 7-of-14 passes for 64 yards, with one interception. The interception occurred when Rodgers overthrew DK Metcalf, resulting in RJ Mickens’ pick that set up Justin Herbert’s 15-yard touchdown pass to Ladd McConkey just before halftime.

Pittsburgh entered the break with only 85 total yards, three first downs, and an 0-for-6 mark on third downs.

The Steelers rallied briefly in the fourth quarter, with Jaylen Warren’s screen pass resulting in an 18-yard gain to the Chargers’ 14-yard line. However, the drive stalled shortly thereafter. Rodgers missed a checkdown to Kenneth Gainwell and then threw incompletions to Metcalf, who was covered tightly by two defenders, ultimately resulting in a turnover on downs.

The Chargers capitalized immediately. McConkey caught a 58-yard pass, setting up Kimani Vidal’s 2-yard touchdown run, which put the game out of reach for Pittsburgh.

Vidal finished the game with 95 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Justin Herbert completed 20 of 33 passes for 220 yards and a score. Jaylen Warren rushed efficiently, gaining 70 yards on 14 carries, averaging 5.0 yards per attempt. Despite this, the Steelers went 0-for-9 on third downs, a critical factor in the loss.

On defense, the black-and-gold unit played stoutly. Patrick Queen recorded a team-high 12 tackles, and Alex Highsmith contributed two sacks.

With the loss, the Steelers fall to 4-5 on the season. They will look to bounce back at home against the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday in Week 11.

XRP Set for a Big Week as Canary Capital ETF Launches on November 13

**XRP Poised for Major Surge as Canary Capital XRP ETF Launches November 13**

XRP could be set for one of its biggest weeks in 2025, with asset manager Canary Capital readying the highly anticipated launch of its XRP ETF on November 13. As excitement builds, experts suggest the token’s value could see a significant jump.

**Canary Capital XRP ETF Set for Thursday Debut**

Last week, Canary Capital filed an updated S-1 registration with the SEC, removing the “delaying amendment” that had previously held back the fund’s launch. With this regulatory hurdle cleared, the ETF is now scheduled to launch this Thursday.

Many analysts believe this development could boost XRP’s performance, especially as the token currently trades near multi-week support levels.

**Growing List of XRP Spot Funds Hitting the Market**

The Canary Capital ETF joins a growing lineup of XRP spot funds appearing on the DTCC. Franklin Templeton’s offering may debut on November 14, while Bitwise is expected to launch between November 19-20. Meanwhile, 21Shares and CoinShares are targeting mid-to-late November for their respective launches.

Anticipation around these ETF launches was evident at Ripple’s recent Swell conference. Teucrium CEO John Gilbertie told attendees, “The last half of November could be very important for XRP,” citing both institutional inflows and a broader trend toward real-world asset tokenization.

Gilbertie also advised investors to keep a long-term outlook: “Believe in it. Don’t worry about volatility. It will even out as adoption comes and more institutional money enters.”

**XRP Products Deliver Promising Market Results**

Recent XRP product launches have shown strong performance. The REX-Osprey XRP ETF traded $37.7 million on its first day, marking the strongest ETF debut of 2025 to date. Similarly, the Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF attracted robust volumes through its first week—clear signs of strong market interest.

These indicators suggest the new Canary Capital ETF could also attract high inflows at its launch.

**Is XRP Significantly Undervalued?**

A recent research report highlights the potential impact of these ETF launches on XRP’s value. At $2.40, analysts argue XRP remains one of the most undervalued large-cap cryptocurrencies. The report notes that spot Bitcoin ETFs drew over $50 billion in assets upon launch, and XRP doesn’t need inflows of that magnitude to see significant price appreciation. Even a fraction of that investment could help drive XRP much higher in the coming weeks.

**Conclusion**
