Chris Jericho has been absent from All Elite Wrestling since April this year. In his last appearance, Y2J dropped his ROH World Championship to Bandido at AEW Dynasty pay-per-view. His absence has been fueling rumors that he could be on his way to WWE in the coming months. WWE veteran Vince Russo recently gave his opinions on the matter with Jericho and AEW. The former WWE writer pointed out that The Learning Tree is in his twilight years in professional wrestling. Therefore, it is implausible that he would be looking to waste his time. Besides, considering his recent comments where he threw shade on AEW by putting TNA over, it could mean that things might not be right between him and Tony Khan’s company. Speaking on The Coach & Bro, Vince Russo said that Chris Jericho might be bitter with All Elite Wrestling, and hence, he is allegedly burying the company. Russo added that the former WWE Champion could be looking to put himself in the limelight to kick off bidding wars when his contract with AEW would be over. “I’m not really surprised because there’s either one of two things going on. He’s either positioning himself for a bidding war, or he’s bitter. It’s one of those two things. I would almost have to believe the latter. He has not wrestled since April.” said Russo Check out the full comments below: Tony Khan says the door is open for Chris Jericho to return to AEW Chris Jericho has been one of the key players in AEW’s success. Y2J has been with the company since its beginning as a main eventer. Recently, Tony Khan spoke about things around the former WWE star’s status with the Jacksonville-based promotion. In the interview on the Ariel Helwani Show, Khan said that Jericho can always return to AEW because he loves to have him in the company. Tony Khan confirmed that the former AEW World Champion is still with AEW and he recently reached out the the star on his birthday. “I just reached out, wished him a happy birthday recently. I’m very excited about everything Chris has done in AEW, he continues to be with us. I can’t speak to that, but I love Chris in AEW, and the door is always open for him to come in.” said Khan The AEW President clearly tried to avoid the question around Jericho’s return to the company. However, only time will tell what is in store for Chris Jericho in the world of professional wrestling from here on. How to get the best Mac this Black Friday, whatever your needs
The Black Friday sales have started, with retailers across the land slashing prices and offering discounts on all of thebest Macs. You might have decided that the time is right to pick up a new computer from Apple, but with so much to choose from and so many aspects to consider, settling on the right choices can be tough. That’s where our guide to finding the best Mac this Black Friday comes in. Here, we’ve looked at all the key decisions you’ll need to make when buying a Mac and explained the pros, cons, and pitfalls of each. By the end, you should have a better idea of what you need and feel ready to pull the trigger on that irresistible deal you’ve been eyeing up. Laptop versus desktop The most fundamental decision you’ll have to make when buying a new Mac this Black Friday is whether you want a laptop or a desktop, as this choice will set the blueprint for everything that comes after. The best starting point is to determine your priority: mobility or office work? While a Mac like a Mac mini is small enough to easily fit in a bag, it’s not designed for mobile use. If you travel a lot and want a computer for those travels, get a laptop. Laptops offer good processing power and connectivity for those on-the-go situations. Foundry On the other hand, if you want the most powerful option for an office, a desktop Mac will serve you well-they have more internal space to support the most powerful chips. The best chip you get in a MacBook is the M4 Max; in a desktop Mac, things go even higher with the top-tier M3 Ultra. And desktops also offer more connectivity in terms of the number of ports, so if you’re frequently hooking up a plethora of peripherals, that might play a role in your decision. Speaking of peripherals, you get an extra element of flexibility here with a desktop Mac, as in most cases you can connect whatever monitor, mouse and keyboard you like (rather than relying on a MacBook’s built-in display and keyboard, for example). That said, the need to provide your own extras usually comes with an additional cost, so you’ll need to factor that in before you buy. Our picks Laptop: 15-inch M4 MacBook Air with 512GB and 16GB of RAM: $1,149 ($250 off) Desktop: M4 Pro Mac mini with 512GB of storage and 24GB RAM: $1,199 ($200 off) Air versus Pro If you’ve decided to opt for an Apple laptop, the next decision you’ll face is between the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. The former places an emphasis on lightweight portability, while the latter is where you’ll find Apple’s most powerful options. Going for the MacBook Pro unlocks a range of extras that aren’t available with the MacBook Air. That includes a high-end Liquid Retina XDR display, longer battery life of up to 24 hours, more generous storage (both in terms of the maximum and the starting amount), and more ports. Those features will serve you well if you need a machine for demanding tasks or professional work. Foundry Besides that, the two laptop ranges come in different sizes, although the differences are small: the MacBook Air is available with 13-inch and 15-inch displays, while the MacBook Pro comes in 14-inch and 16-inch flavors. The MacBook Air is also a lot lighter, with the 13-inch model weighing 2. 7lbs to the 14-inch MacBook Pro’s 3. 4lbs, for example. Finally, there’s the price. The MacBook Air is the more affordable of the two, with its price starting at $999 (and frequently going on sale for less at places like Amazon and Best Buy). The MacBook Pro, meanwhile, will set you back a minimum of $1,599. All that extra power comes at a cost. Apple doesn’t use the Air and Pro branding for its desktop Macs, so the way to differentiate between separate models isn’t as obvious. Generally speaking, you have consumer machines like the iMac and the Mac mini on the one hand, and pro computers like the Mac Studio and the Mac Pro on the other. And then you and the M4 Pro Mac mini, which falls in-between. We’ll dive into those details later in this guide. Our picks MacBook Air: 15-inch M4 MacBook Air with 512GB and 24GB of RAM: $1,349 ($250 off) MacBook Pro: 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 1TB of storage and 24GB of RAM: $1,699 ($300 off) Display If you’re going to spend a lot of time looking at content on-screen-especially if its critical to your work or where accuracy is essential-it can pay to get a Mac with a superior screen. In the case of MacBook laptops, that’s found in the MacBook Pro’s Liquid Retina XDR display. This boasts a resolution of 3024×1964 pixels compared to the 2880×1864 resolution of the MacBook Air’s regular Liquid Retina screen. And there’s the addition of ProMotion adaptive refresh rate tech that can ramp up to 120Hz, which is great for both smoother scrolling and more enjoyable gaming experiences. Foundry It also brings far more brightness to the table: 1, 000 nits of sustained brightness and 1, 600 nits of peak brightness for HDR content. That should be particularly useful for working outside or in other bright conditions. The MacBook Air only reaches 500 nits, in contrast. On the desktop side, things are a little more complex. That’s because most desktop Macs don’t come with their own display (the exception is the iMac, which has a 24-inch screen with a 4. 5K resolution and 500 nits of brightness), so you’ll need to provide your own. There’s a wide range to choose from, but some of thebest Mac monitors include high resolutions and refresh rates, plenty of ergonomic adjustments, and a big enough screen size for you to work comfortably. If you decide on a desktop this Black Friday, make sure you consider the cost of a monitor if you don’t already have your own. The chip: M4 versus M5 You might think that choosing a chip is as straightforward as going for Apple’s latest M5, but things aren’t quite so simple at the moment. Right now, in fact, Apple has three chip generations on offer across its Mac range, with chips from the M3, M4 and M5 generations all available in current Macs. Which should you choose? Foundry Since the M4 and M5 are in the widest selection of up-to-date Macs, we’ll start there. Both chips are fantastic options that deliver more than enough power for most people. The M5 is only available in the MacBook Pro for now, though; the MacBook Air is still on M4 but is expected to migrate to the M5 chip in early 2026. If you opt for a MacBook Air, the choice of an M4 chip is already made for you. Then there are the different tiers, like M4 Pro, M4 Max, and so on. Drilling down here, much of your choice depends on your workload. The M4 Max is the most powerful M4 chip available, while the M3 range tops out with the M3 Ultra (which is also Apple’s most performant option across the chip generations). The M5 range only extends to the base M5 for now. If you need something for either pro workloads or for high-end gaming, you’re likely going to want to look at the M4 Max or M3 Ultra. Those chips are available in the MacBook Pro, Mac Studio and Mac Pro. Memory Memory (Apple calls it “unified memory,” and it’s generally referred to as RAM and not to be confused with storage) is important for multitasking and helping demanding apps run quickly and efficiently. You can’t change it once you’ve bought a Mac, so it’s important to get it right first time. IDG The amount you need all comes down to your workload. If you’re just browsing the internet and sending emails, the base 16GB will be plenty. But if you’re training AI models, crunching large datasets or editing huge videos, you’ll want at least 24GB-buy as much as you can afford. Make sure to think carefully about what you actually need, as you can’t change the memory once you’ve bought your Mac. Storage Storage is very important, as (like memory) you can’t change it after you’ve made your decision-although the situation is a little less drastic than with memory, as you can buyexternal SSDs andhard drives to supplement your Mac’s internal storage. Thiago Trevisan/Foundry Storage can get used up quickly, especially as your needs change. Give plenty of thought to the things you’ll be using your Mac for, both now and a rough estimate of what might happen in the future. You need to think about everything you want to use the Mac for. For instance, is it likely that you’ll be installing heavy-duty apps that eat into your available storage? Will you be storing reams of sizable photos and videos? Are you going to use your machine for playing large AAA games? These are the types of things that can quickly hog up your available space. There are ways to save on internal drive space, though. Make use of cloud storage, and you can offload files from your Mac, freeing up room for other things. And if you make sure to routinely uninstall large apps that you no longer need-or use Apple’s Optimize Storage feature in the System Settings app, which periodically removes TV shows and email attachments you’re finished with-you can reclaim space and save on storage. Our pick OWC 1TB Express 1M2 40Gb/s Portable NVMe SSD: $200 ($30 off) Ready to shop?.

Dear Abby: 6 years later, man-child still holds grudge
Dear Abby: My daughter is asking me to apologize to her boyfriend, “Harry,” for yelling at him when I was helping them move six years ago. (I had traveled 250 miles to help.) The day of the move, Harry didn’t take the day off work, so he wasn’t there to help. (They had a second-floor unit with no elevator.) When he finally did show up, he proceeded to slow-walk taking out the recycling stuff. At the new place, Harry helped somewhat, but when the food was delivered, rather than continue to help, he decided to sit down and eat while the other two helpers and I continued moving stuff in. (This was 10 hours into the move.) That’s when I lost it. I yelled at him for not helping more. All he had done in his relationship with my daughter was go to work, come home and play video games. He didn’t help around the house or show any interest in helping with their son. Over the last few years, Harry has changed somewhat in helping with his son, but my daughter now feels stuck in the middle and wants me to apologize to him for yelling. I have made no disparaging remarks about him since. I even liked some of his posts on Facebook. I have gotten over it, but it seems Harry hasn’t. I told my daughter he needs professional help. The last time I visited, he stayed in a hotel for the weekend. My son says it should be an apology going both ways and should come from Harry first. What do you think? Family Dilemma in Canada Dear Family Dilemma: Face it. Your daughter’s boyfriend is an overgrown child. Count your blessings that she isn’t married to him. Someone has to be an adult, and I am voting for you to fill that role by taking the first step. Hold your nose and apologize to Harry, if only for your daughter’s sake. Dear Abby: Should parents be allowed to send birthday invitations to school if only select students are the recipients of the invitation? I’m the parent of a (very) special needs pre-k child. Daily, I feel the heartache of her challenges and her desire for connection with others. On the parent FB group, someone recently posted about their daughter’s birthday. It said those who received an invite should text the cellphone number listed for a change of plans. We never received an invite. Were we the only ones excluded? If I’m honest, my emotions may be particularly fragile when it comes to my daughter and inclusion. I do think people should be able to invite only their friends. However, it seems to me that discretion on the part of the parent who is hosting would be more polite and kind. Parents should make a point to know their child’s friends’ parents’ contact information. Do you have an opinion? Uninvited in the East Dear Uninvited: I’m with you 100%, speaking for myself as an adult who was once a child who was excluded. For many reasons, parents should make a point of having their child’s friends’ parents’ contact information. That information could be crucial in case of an emergency. Encinitas surfer Alyssa Spencer wins third SurferGirl Surf Pro
Encinitas professional surfer Alyssa Spencer won SurferGirl Surf Pro on Nov. 9 in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. The World Surf League Qualifying Series (QS) win was the 22-year-old Spencer’s third time in her career donning the Super Girl cape, the first ever to do it at the QS level, tying Hawaiian surfer Coco Ho. “Incredibly blessed to be a part of such an amazing event,” Spencer posted on Instagram, celebrating her historic win. “I attended my first SuperGirl Pro when I was seven years old, bright eyed, and dreaming of doing what those girls were doing one day. It was also my very first QS event I did at 12 years old where I finally got to surf against some of my idols. Over the years these events have inspired and pushed me in so many ways and been a huge part of my career.” The SuperGirl victory was also Spencer’s second this month, going back-to-back after winning the La Marginal Surfing Pro in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on Nov. 2. According to a press release, Spencer now moves to number one in the North American region in the QS tier, and currently sits in the 11th spot on the Challenger Series with the hopes of returning to the WSL Championship Tour, the highest level of surf competition. “I’m just always trying to have fun. I love surfing so much, and having fun is what it’s all about,” said Spencer in the news release. “I would just say thank you so much (to Coco Ho) for all the inspiration that she gave me. It’s really special to have my name right there next to hers as the only two girls to have won three. I came close in Oceanside, and I really wanted to get it here, so I’m so grateful it happened. I miss my family and thank you to my mom, dad, my grandma, and my brother for watching. I love you guys.”.

Floating soccer pitch hits SF Bay ahead of National Women’s Soccer championship this weekend
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Drive along San Francisco’s waterfront in the coming days, and you might see an unexpected sight: a soccer pitch on a barge. It’s there to celebrate the upcoming National Women’s Soccer Championship. “Being able to see the cityscape and being able to share the excitement for NWSL’s championship week here in the Bay Area is what we’re all about,” said Brendan Hannan. The floating field will host a series of events beginning Thursday. All of them are designed to help get fans involved and excited ahead of the big game. Hannan is a spokesperson for the NWSL. He believes this weekend’s events will help increase the league’s visibility and popularity. MORE: NFL, Bay Area Host Committee announce venues for Super Bowl 60 events “Some of the best players in the world play in our league here, and this is the opportunity to see the showcase of that,” Hannan said. Women’s professional sports, and especially soccer, have been exploding in popularity. Matthew Atencio, of the Center for Sport and Social Justice at Cal State East Bay, says the trend has been years in the making. “We’re coming up on just over 50 years since Title IX legislation, gender equity in sports. And I really think we’re seeing the fruits of that legislation now with the explosion of professional women’s sports,” Atencio said. This weekend’s soccer championship is only the first of several big sporting events that will happen in the Bay Area. MORE: Bay FC soccer game makes history with new attendance record of 40, 000 people at SF’s Oracle Park Next year, our region will also host the World Cup as well as the Super Bowl. Those events are expected to bring increased tourism and revenue into our region. But local officials hope they also help shape the Bay Area’s image of being a major sports hub. “I think this is a great sports town and a great sports community. You have sort of all of the great history within the sport here,” Hannan said. The NWSL championship game will take place Saturday at 5 p. m.

Two LPGA friends announce their retirement at The Annika
Two days after her own retirement, Elizabeth Szokol returned to her home course, Pelican Golf Club, to watch good friend Caroline Inglis say her own goodbye. The two friends, who were grouped together in the first two rounds, are the latest thirtysomethings to move on from the LPGA in what has become a common trend.
Szokol also had another friend, Cheyenne Knight, on a FaceTime call so she could see the finish on Sunday at The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican.
“I think it’s a mix of emotions. It’s definitely bittersweet,” said Inglis. “Sad to go and be done after so long, so many years on LPGA Tour, but excited for the next step. It’s definitely the right decision for me.”
Inglis, 31, joined the LPGA in 2017 and earned $1.1 million over the course of a career that included three top 10 finishes. Back injuries have plagued her professional career and flared up again over the summer. When a job opportunity presented itself to work at the Oregon Golf Association, Inglis felt it was the right time to make a change.
Szokol, who lives locally in the Tampa Bay Area, planned to make dinner for all who came to celebrate the two friends.
“I’m so proud of (Elizabeth) and everything she’s accomplished,” said Inglis. “I told her, I hope you’re proud of yourself as well. And I feel the same way. We may not always accomplish all the things we wanted to, but we’re out here and at the end of the day we’re with the 150, 200 best women golfers in the world, so it’s pretty cool.”
Szokol, 30, joined the LPGA in 2019 and won the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational with Knight in 2023. She has nine career top 10s and $1.8 million in career earnings.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been nine years playing, which is pretty crazy,” said Szokol on Friday. “It was great to retire at home, a golf course I’m a member at and had so many family and friends out today. So it was pretty special.
“Would’ve liked one more putt to go in, but that’s all right. I can look back at a successful career.”

Trevor Connelly makes season debut with the Silver Knights
While most of the headlines surrounding the Henderson Silver Knights focused on whether Carter Hart would make his official return to professional hockey, the spotlight overshadowed the comeback of another player equally important within the Vegas Golden Knights’ farm system.
Back in July, forward Trevor Connelly suffered a lower-body injury during the World Juniors showcase. The Golden Knights held rookie camp without their top prospect, and the Silver Knights had to start their season without one of their key X-factors.
However, fans finally got to witness the moment they had been waiting for, as Connelly made his season debut on Saturday against the Calgary Wranglers.
It didn’t take long for Connelly to make an impact. After Martin Frk put the Wranglers on the board just 18 seconds into the game, Connelly and the Silver Knights capitalized on a power play opportunity. Connelly was instrumental in the goal, finding Raphael Lavoie, who crashed the net and pushed the tying goal across the line.
“Trevor played well. He has the puck, you can see the skill. It’s his first game since, for us, last April,” said Silver Knights head coach Ryan Craig. “He’s playing catch-up, and the league continues to get faster just like any league as it goes through. Trevor did a good job, I thought, with his first game. He can now take a deep breath in knowing that he gets through it healthy and we can work from there.”
The Wranglers responded with their own power play goal from Justin Kirkland to take a 2-1 lead at the end of the first period.
The Silver Knights bounced back early in the second period. Dylan Coghlan scored a snipe from the point to tie the game, followed by crisp passing that left Jonas Rondbjerg with enough space to give Henderson their first lead of the night.
“Just the shot mentality. It was nice to get one four seconds into the power play, and the next power play, we’re snapping it around pretty good,” said Coghlan, reflecting on the effectiveness of the Henderson power play unit.
Unfortunately for the Silver Knights, things quickly unraveled after that with three unanswered goals from Calgary, pushing the score to 5-3.
Henderson inched closer thanks to Tuomas Uronen. The 2023 sixth-round pick, who has looked like a steal in his first year with the Silver Knights, continued his impressive start by netting his seventh goal in just his first ten career AHL games.
That goal was the closest Henderson would get to a comeback, as Frk completed his hat trick to seal a 6-4 win for the Wranglers.
Despite the loss, the Silver Knights did not go down without a fight—a tenacity that earned the respect of Coach Craig.
“Tonight, after getting scored on 18 seconds in, our pushback and resolve, we go up 3-2 seven minutes into the second period. So, it’s how you manage those momentum swings. You know that they’re going to push back; there are good teams that we’re playing each and every night. It’s how we respond to that,” Craig remarked about his team’s compete level.
Connelly and the Silver Knights will get another opportunity to face the Wranglers on Sunday, with Carter Hart’s return now looking on the horizon.

Gio Reyna scores as U.S. beats Paraguay in Chester
Gio Reyna scored in his first international start in 16 months to surpass his father’s career goal tally, then set up Folarin Balogun’s tiebreaking goal in the 71st minute to lead the United States over Paraguay 2-1 on Saturday night in a friendly between World Cup-bound teams. The match also sparked a late brawl.
During second-half stoppage time, American defender Alex Freeman and Paraguay captain Diego Gómez both reached for a ball that rolled out of play, leading to a scuffle as players from both benches joined in. Paraguay’s Omar Alderete, who was not on the field, received a red card, while American midfielder Cristian Roldan was given a yellow card.
Playing just two days after his 23rd birthday, the often-injured Reyna scored in the fourth minute of his first start for club or country since September 14, marking only his second start since March 1. However, Álex Arce capitalized on a defensive lapse to equalize for Paraguay in the 10th minute. Diego Luna’s impact came soon after, as a forced turnover led to the go-ahead goal for the U.S.
Juan Cáceres tried to regain possession and knocked the ball toward Balogun, who then passed to Reyna. The midfielder took a touch and centered the ball, which deflected off Paraguay’s Damián Bobadilla, allowing Balogun to score from seven yards out. This marked Balogun’s eighth goal for the U.S. and his third in four matches. Max Arsten collected his team-high fifth assist of 2025, helping the U.S. extend its unbeaten streak to four games.
With time running out for U.S. players to impress coach Mauricio Pochettino, the Americans — ranked 16th — will face No. 15 Uruguay on Tuesday, followed by two more friendlies in March before the World Cup roster announcement.
Reyna had not started a game for the U.S. since the 2024 Copa America. His goal came after shots from Sergiño Dest and Cristian Roldan were blocked following Arsten’s corner kick. Arsten’s cross found Reyna, whose header from eight yards grazed the outstretched fingertips of goalkeeper Orlando Gill and went in off the crossbar. Notably, this was Reyna’s first professional headed goal.
With this goal, Reyna has now scored nine times in 33 international appearances, surpassing his father Claudio Reyna’s tally of eight goals in 112 games. Claudio was the U.S. captain at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups.
Paraguay, ranked 39th and making their first World Cup appearance since 2010, equalized earlier when Junior Alonso played a long ball behind Dest to Miguel Almirón, who delivered a cross. Álex Arce outpaced Miles Robinson and headed the ball off a hop, beating U.S. goalkeeper Matt Freese with an open header for his first international goal.
The U.S. lineup was missing key players Christian Pulisic, Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie, Tim Weah, Chris Richards, and Antonee Robinson. Joe Scally started alongside Miles Robinson and Tim Ream in a three center-back formation the U.S. adopted in September, with Dest as right wingback and Arsten on the left.
Roldan and Tanner Tessmann anchored the midfield, while Reyna and Brenden Aaronson played advanced midfield roles behind Balogun leading the attack. Both Freese and Aaronson are products of the Philadelphia Union and appeared in the stadium of their hometown team.

South Florida man with prosthetic leg pursues boxing glory — with help from his gym
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) — A South Florida boxer refuses to give up on his dream of making it big in the ring — all while wearing a prosthetic leg. His community is backing him every step of the way.
Julian Gonzalez is always pushing himself. “Be quick, you know, be fast in my hands, in my speed, in my thinking,” he said.
The young pugilist has been chasing his dream of becoming a professional boxer, but it’s how he’s doing it that makes his story truly stand out. “You know there’s no Paralympic boxing, so,” he explained. Now, he’s proving he doesn’t need his own lane in the ring.
Recently, Gonzalez went head-to-head with an able-bodied boxer who was heavier and more experienced. “It was a good fight,” he said. “As soon as that bell rung, and it was just me and him, it was like all that completely washed away.”
That’s when all his hours of training paid off. “All that work, the two and a half years, the weeks leading up to it, it was phenomenal, phenomenal,” Gonzalez shared.
Back in October, Gonzalez won his first fight and scored his first belt. “The feeling of having my hand raised in that ring is like no other,” he said.
That victory showed him and his coaches at Phoenix Boxing Gym in Delray Beach that he’s ready to compete at a high level. “I am able to compete level to level with people who are two-legged, and I feel like, with how I move, I move better than most people with two legs. My footwork is pretty decent,” Gonzalez said confidently.
Now, he has the belt to show for it, and a community rooting for his success.
“I was chasing him around, trying to get his wraps off his hands, and he didn’t want to know. I think he sleeps with that belt,” said Michael Hockton, owner of Phoenix Boxing Gym.
Looking ahead, Gonzalez is preparing for a busy 2026 filled with fights and more wins. “It went well, it went well,” he said.
Gonzalez is currently raising $20,000 for a new prosthetic leg. So far, he has raised more than $2,000 through his nonprofit organization, We Box For Life.
