熊本県知事、TSMC進出に伴う渋滞や地下水対策で不安解消に努める

熊本県の木村敬知事は、半導体大手の台湾積体電路製造（TSMC）の進出に伴い、地元住民から交通渋滞や地下水汚染に関する懸念の声が上がっていることを受け、不安の解消に尽力する考えを示しました。
8日に福岡市で行われた講演の中で、木村知事は住民の心配を重く受け止め、適切な対策を講じることを約束。TSMCとの連携を強化し、地域への影響を最小限に抑えるための取り組みを進めています。
なお、熊本県とTSMCは渋滞問題については「着工延期による影響は否定される」と説明しており、地域の理解と協力を得ながらプロジェクトを推進していく方針です。

米南部爆薬工場で爆発、死者複数 テネシー州、19人不明

【ニューヨーク共同】米南部テネシー州の軍事用爆薬製造工場で10日、爆発が発生しました。地元の保安官によると、複数の死者が確認されており、現在19人の安否が不明となっています。
米メディアの映像では、爆発現場の建屋が跡形もなく破壊されている様子が映し出されています。現場付近には消防車両が駆けつけ対応にあたっています。

Santo Domingo.- The National District Mayor’s Office has been honored with the Outstanding New Park Project Award for the Latin American Region at the World Urban Parks International Awards. This prestigious recognition was awarded for the Fernández Environmental Project and Park, highlighting its innovative and sustainable design coupled with a strong community impact.
The project is a key element of Mayor Carolina Mejía’s vision to restore and enhance public spaces across the city. It involved transforming a 19,000-square-meter area in the Fernández Urbanization by rehabilitating its lagoon and constructing a new park. Notably, the development addressed a longstanding 25-year stormwater drainage issue, bringing significant environmental and social benefits to the community.
Fernández Park is one of more than 205 parks and plazas developed under Mayor Mejía’s administration. These efforts collectively promote a healthier, greener, and more organized Santo Domingo, improving quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
The award ceremony took place in Istanbul, Turkey, where a Dominican delegation led by Elizabeth Mateo accepted the accolade on behalf of Mayor Mejía. Mateo expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, which was selected from over 100 international submissions.
Fernández Park distinguished itself through excellence, innovation, and strong environmental commitment. This achievement further reinforces Santo Domingo’s growing reputation as a leader in sustainable urban development in Latin America.

福岡県警粕屋署は10日、新宮町下府東2丁目17番付近で、9日午後3時30分ごろ、小学生の女児が見知らぬ男から携帯電話を向けられ、「グッジョブ」と声をかけられる事案が発生したとして、防犯メールで注意を呼びかけました。
男の特徴は以下の通りです。
・年齢：20歳くらい
・服装：白色の上衣
・髪型：黒色マッシュルームカット
・移動手段：自転車使用
地域の皆さまにおかれましては、不審者に十分ご注意いただくとともに、子どもたちへの声かけや自宅周辺の見守りを強化していただきますようお願いします。

Veteran New Zealand star Sophie Devine once again showcased her exceptional batting prowess in a crucial ICC Women’s World Cup match against Bangladesh in Guwahati on Friday.
Devine began the tournament with a stellar 115-run innings against Australia, followed by a strong 85 against South Africa. Continuing her impressive form, she scored a commanding 63 runs against Bangladesh, proving why she remains one of the top performers in the competition.

Coming to the crease when the White Ferns were struggling at 35/2, and quickly turning to 38/3, Devine found a reliable partner in Brooke Halliday.
