Serena Williams’ ex-coach Rennae Stubbs has backed Novak Djokovic to go all the way at the Australian Open 2026, thus breaking Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s stranglehold at the Majors. The two youngsters have won the last eight Majors, and have clearly distanced themselves from the rest of the pack. Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, the Rennae Stubbs Podcast, Stubbs was going over Alcaraz and Sinner’s dominance this year. She felt that Djokovic is the only real contender to challenge them. I’ve said it over and over, I do think Novak is setting his sights. I don’t think he cared about the ATP Finals, clearly he didn’t play it. I think he’s going to put all this time and effort into busting his a** one last time to win down in Australia,” Stubbs said. Stubbs also highlighted Djokovic’s win over Alcaraz at the Australian Open 2025. According to her, even the Serb would fancy his chances of a title if he gets to the business end of the tournament. “I think he’s the only one that can rock the cherry cart for Jannik and Carlos. Carlos has never made the finals there. Novak crushed him last year, one set was really good, but Novak was overall better. So I think Novak goes in there going, I know I can potentially get to a semifinal there and I know I have maybe one more last grasp,” Stubbs said. Stubbs wasn’t as confident of Djokovic beating Sinner. However, given the Serb’s history in Melbourne, it could be the only place where he has a realistic shot at beating his younger rival. “I don’t think he’d beat someone like Jannik on that court. I think Jannik is just too good on that court. But it might be the one place that Novak can,” she concluded. Djokovic made the semifinals of all four Majors in 2025, and lost to either Sinner or Alcaraz in three of them. He will be keen to one-up them in the coming season after they thwarted his attempts of claiming a record 25th Major title. Porsha Williams met by authorities after Delta flight incident, and the FBI is now looking into it

Porsha Williams from the Real Housewives of Atlanta had an unexpected run-in with authorities after her flight landed on Sunday night. The reality TV star was flying from Las Vegas to Atlanta when something happened on the plane that got the attention of law enforcement. Video footage shows Williams walking out of the gate wearing a fur coat and Uggs. She looked pretty relaxed about the whole thing and did not seem worried. A police officer walked with her after she got off the plane, and they talked for a bit. The FBI office in Atlanta told TMZ that they know about what happened on the Delta flight on November 16th. They said Williams and maybe another person were involved in some kind of incident. The FBI is now looking into it and trying to figure out if anyone broke any federal laws that would lead to charges. The incident is still a mystery Nobody really knows what actually went down on the flight yet. The flight crew talked to two passengers during the trip. Whatever the problem was, it did not stop the plane from finishing its journey to Atlanta like normal. When the plane got to the airport, police officers were there waiting to meet it. “FBI Atlanta is aware of an incident on a Delta flight on November 16th allegedly involving Porsha Williams and/or at least one other person,” TMZ quoted an FBI spokesperson. “We are looking to see whether any federal charges may or may not apply.” Williams was in Las Vegas for the whole weekend before this happened. She went to BravoCon with the other women from Real Housewives of Atlanta. The event is a big convention where fans get to meet their favorite Bravo stars. Williams did panels and took pictures with fans throughout the weekend. Everything seemed fine during her time in Vegas. She was hanging out with her co-stars and having a good time at the convention. So the flight incident on Sunday night was a strange way for her trip to end. The involvement of federal law enforcement in travel incidents usually means something serious might have happened. Her team has not made any statements either, so people are left guessing about what really went on during the flight.

Robbie Williams forced to cancel final tour gig in Turkey over terror fears as hitmaker tells fans decision to axe performance ‘was beyond our control’

Robbie Williams has been forced to cancel a planned performance in Turkey over terror fears, the singer revealed in a statement released on Saturday.

The Angels hitmaker, 51, took to Instagram to share with devastated fans that he had no option but to cancel his set in Istanbul. Robbie said, “I’m extremely sorry that I will not be able to perform in Istanbul next week.”

The former Take That frontman continued: “City authorities have cancelled the show, in the interests of public safety. The last thing I would ever want to do is to jeopardise the safety of my fans – their safety and security come first.”

“We were very excited to be playing Istanbul for the first time, and purposely chose the city as the final show of the BRITPOP tour. To end this epic run of dates in front of my Turkish fans was my dream, given the close connections my family have with this wonderful country.”

“To everyone in Istanbul who wanted to join the 1.2 million people who have shared this phenomenal tour this year with us, I am deeply sorry. We were so looking forward to this show but the decision to cancel it was beyond our control.”

Robbie was due to perform at Atakoy Marina on October 7, coinciding with the second anniversary of the terror attacks on Israel by Hamas. According to local publication Turkiye Today, organisers cited potential security risks and public backlash as the reasons behind the cancellation.

The singer has previously faced criticism for marrying wife Ayda Field, 46, who has Turkish heritage through her father, while her American mother is Jewish. The couple are proud parents to daughter Teddy, 12; son Charlie, 10; daughter Coco, six; and son Beau, four.

Robbie was also scheduled to release his latest studio album, *Britpop*, just days later on October 10. However, the release has now been pushed back to avoid clashing with Taylor Swift’s *Life Of A Showgirl* tour. Robbie previously told fans: “Due to scheduling changes, *Britpop* will now be released on February 6, 2026.”

In other news, it was revealed in August that Robbie is being sued by the co-writer of his smash hit “Angels,” who claims to have earned just £7,500 from the song.

Ray Heffernan is fighting for a third of the future royalties associated with the single, which had sold an estimated 1.8 million copies in the UK as of 2021, combining physical and digital sales. The Irish singer-songwriter, who penned the hit at age 22, aims to use the new “bestseller clause” recently passed by the EU.

The origins of the song date back to 1996 when Mr. Heffernan met Robbie Williams during a night out in Dublin over the Christmas holidays. Heffernan played the song to the former Take That star at his mother’s house, and the pair then recorded a first version of the single.
