Paul Merson predicts Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur and other Premier League GW12 fixtures
The Premier League returns after an eventful international break which saw the likes of Curacao and Scotland qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Now it is all about top-flight football in England and we have some exciting stuff to look forward to this weekend. After Arsenal’s draw against Sunderland, it can’t be said that it is a foregone conclusion that Mikel Arteta and company will win the league title. But they are still favourites and I’ll tell you why. Manchester City are not far behind Arsenal, but they are so heavily reliant on Erling Haaland. Arsenal will have quite a few first team regulars missing through injury this weekend, and despite that, I expect them to field a very strong team against Nottingham Forest. No other team in the league can do the same, and that is the difference! Thanks for the submission! Arsenal have a big week coming up. After the derby at home to Tottenham, they face Bayern Munich in a match that will prove their credentials about winning the Champions League, before taking on another big London rival in Chelsea next weekend. This run will determine how far they can go this season. On that note, let us dive straight into my predictions for gameweek 12 in the Premier League. Burnley vs Chelsea When you come into a game like this after the international break, it’s so different than usual. We saw Liverpool lose to Nottingham Forest in a similar game after one of the international breaks last season. So it’s never an easy game to call. Burnley need to start winning games at home. But I just think Chelsea will be stronger all over the pitch and I expect the visitors to win. I would go with Liam Delap as the striker for this game and I’d stick to that even after Cole Palmer returns from injury. Palmer is someone who needs runners with him, that is why Nicolas Jackson was such a good option for Chelsea. If Joao Pedro plays as striker, he will drop deep and that will not free up enough space for Palmer to operate. Delap, on the other hand, is a willing runner and a proper number nine who will suit Palmer in my opinion. Only time will tell if Palmer can make it to England’s World Cup squad for next year though. He will have to come back from injury and hit the ground running straightaway. Palmer needs a run of form like the one he had when he first burst onto the scene at Chelsea. Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Chelsea Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest This is the exact fixture I was talking about earlier. Last September, Liverpool lost to Forest at Anfield after the international break. I know Forest are still second-bottom in the table, but they have kicked on a bit under Sean Dyche. They have only lost to Bournemouth in the last five games, which includes wins over Porto, Leeds and a draw against Manchester United. Forest have certainly enjoyed an uptick in terms of results. However, I just can’t see Liverpool not scoring in this game. Forest are not keeping a clean sheet at Anfield for sure! Florian Wirtz looked good for Germany in the international break. I know the opposition wasn’t the strongest, but he’s the top boy in Germany. Wirtz has the faith of the manager and goes out and expresses himself to the best of his abilities when he puts on that shirt. At Liverpool, he is always behind the eight ball. Last week against Manchester City, Wirtz looked like he had never played football before! Don’t get me wrong, I like him as a player. But if you pay over £100 million for a player and he does nothing in such a big game, that is a worrying sign for your team. Wirtz wasn’t the only one who did nothing in that game, but Liverpool paid the big bucks for him to take them to the next level. It’s obviously not his fault that they paid that amount of money, but the price-tag will always add to the expectations. I would actually start Wirtz in this game. If you play him against City at the Etihad, you have to start him against Forest at Anfield. He needs a run of games to get used to the intensity of the league. If someone else comes in for him and they score, then people will start questioning him again, which does no good for his confidence. Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 Nottingham Forest Bournemouth vs West Ham United West Ham have done well in recent weeks. Consecutive wins over Newcastle and Burnley have given them a huge lift in the battle to avoid relegation. I just think this game away from home to Bournemouth is very tough though. I said earlier that I don’t see West Ham going down and I stand by it. But winning this game will be a bit of a stretch for them. Bournemouth are a team that must work really hard every single week to keep punching above their weight. They come into this game on the back of a couple of big losses. The defeat against City at the Etihad is understandable, but losing 4-0 against Aston Villa, that scoreline was a bit surprising. It just shows how tough and unpredictable the Premier League can be. I’m expecting Bournemouth to bounce back in style this weekend. Prediction: Bournemouth 3-0 West Ham United Wolves vs Crystal Palace Wolves’ new manager is finally here. Rob Edwards has a tough job on his hands to get them out of the relegation zone. This is not the easiest game when you take charge of a club like Wolves, but it is also not the toughest when you think about it! An ex-player coming back as manager to save them? The crowd will certainly be up for it. This is a cup final for Wolves. They have just two points in 11 matches and another loss here would be insult to injury. Even though the new manager coming in gives Wolves a slight chance, I can’t look beyond a Crystal Palace win in this game. Wolves fans will be praying for a miracle! Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Crystal Palace Brighton & Hove Albion vs Brentford I’m not too convinced about Brentford when they play away from home. They are one of the toughest teams to face on their home turf, but it’s a completely different story when they hit the road. Honestly, there really isn’t much between these sides, they are evenly-matched if you ask me. West Ham winning two games on the bounce has made the relegation battle tight at the bottom. Whoever loses this game will know they are only a couple of defeats away from being dragged into that battle to avoid the drop! If Brentford were playing at home, I would have backed them. I’m going with Brighton instead, purely because of home advantage. Prediction: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 Brentford Fulham vs Sunderland Sunderland have been amazing, what an unbelievable start on their return to the Premier League. This is a game where Fulham need a result because they are playing at home and have not been great to watch in recent weeks. The defeat to Everton before the international break now means they sit just one point above the relegation zone. I admit that Fulham are not as bad as the table suggests, but every time I talk to their fans, most of them are worried about the possibility of going down and that isn’t a good sign. If they don’t win this game, they will be among the teams fearing the drop. Even though Fulham were poor against Everton, I’m backing them here. A lot of Sunderland fans will think I’m mad, but it’s what I really think. Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Sunderland Newcastle United vs Manchester City If Manchester City win this game, I will be thinking that should they keep all their main players fit, they can challenge Arsenal. Newcastle have not been at their best on home turf so far this season, but it is still one of the toughest fixtures in the league. If Eddie Howe’s team can play like they did against Liverpool, they have a chance at winning this game! Erling Haaland has been scoring goals for fun. But will that help him win the Ballon d’Or? The answer is no. No matter how many goals you score, it always comes down to your performance in the Champions League and City must win that trophy to give Haaland a strong chance to win the award. Nick Woltemade has also impressed me so far. I always wonder when players come to the Premier League, ‘if they were so good, why didn’t Bayern Munich want them?’. That is not the case with Woltemade, he’s showing why Bayern really wanted him to be their number nine. Woltemade reminds me of Peter Crouch. He is not just a target man, he can play with the ball and likes it being fed into his feet. Woltemade will cause problems to other teams every single week. If Newcastle’s midfield three can fire like last season, it will be perfect for him. Newcastle away is a tricky fixture right after the international break and that’s why I think City will drop points in this one. Prediction: Newcastle United 1-1 Manchester City Leeds United vs Aston Villa I worry for Leeds a bit. I look at their team and I don’t know who is going to give them that X-factor. Aston Villa have turned a massive corner in recent weeks and are one of the most in-form teams in the league. I’d be shocked if they lose this game. Ollie Watkins hasn’t really turned up so far this season. He does a lot of unselfish work for the team though. I don’t think that work will go unnoticed in the eyes of the manager. Hopefully, the goals can also follow soon. Leeds need to go out and sign someone who can bring the X-factor to their team in January, if they want to stay in the Premier League. An easy win for Villa here. Prediction: Leeds United 1-3 Aston Villa Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur This is the game! When I used to play for Arsenal, I used to ring my dad up and tell him when we’re playing Tottenham as soon as the fixtures were out. I know Liverpool and Manchester City are bigger opponents for Arsenal in the title race, but for the fans, this is the biggest game! Tottenham are top of the league table if you only consider form away from home. When Spurs are not the favourites and they sit back, absorb pressure and hit you on the break, they are a tricky team to face. If Arsenal were playing away from home, I would have given Tottenham no chance! Mikel Arteta also has to deal with injuries to some key players, so I don’t think this game is a straighforward win for Arsenal. Will Viktor Gyokeres be fit? Can Leandro Trossard make an impact like he did in the last game? There are so many questions to be answered. Arsenal vs Tottenham has always been one of the most entertaining matches in the Premier League. But I don’t think that will be the case here. I’m expecting a tight, cagey affair with Arsenal coming out on top in the end. Prediction: Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur Manchester United vs Everton Manchester United are slowly starting to find some rhythm. I say that carefully because we wouldn’t have said this about them last season or the one before that. United have been quite bad in terms of stitching together a run of results, but there is a bit of hope now. Benjamin Sesko being ruled out does not help Everton because they would rather play against him. If Sesko played, Everton know what they are up against and how to mark him. When it’s Matheus Cunha playing that false-nine role, it’s entirely different. One second you’re looking at Cunha and the next thing you know it’s Bryan Mbeumo also working in tandem with him. With Sesko, United can only play one way and that would have been easier to deal with. Casemiro looks confident now and it is making a huge difference to Manchester United. I don’t want to take credit away from home, he’s won five Champions League trophies with Real Madrid, but he’s benefitting from the arrival of Cunha and Mbeumo. Teams are now aware of the threat that United have while going forward, so they are not keen on opening the game up. It has taken some pressure off Casemiro with teams constantly being bothered about the threat of those two players on the break. When the people around you start playing well, the mix becomes a good cocktail! I said Manchester United won’t beat Forest even though they were flying at the time. That draw was disappointing but I expect them to make amends with a win this weekend. Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Everton.

Government committed to maintain full security during elections
Kathmandu, Nov 20: The government held discussions with over 100 registered political parties on preparations and security for the upcoming elections. The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sushila Karki at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, included representatives from more than 100 parties. The government emphasized its commitment to creating a safe and fear-free environment, while some parties raised security concerns. Communications and Information Technology Minister Jagadish Kharel said the government invited 115 of the 125 registered parties, with over 100 attending. He noted that such broad dialogue on elections is unprecedented in Nepal. The Prime Minister briefed the parties on election preparations, efforts to boost the morale of security personnel, and the work of the Election Commission. Most parties expressed readiness for elections and stressed the need for free, fair, and impartial voting, which the government assured it would support. Security concerns raised by a few parties will be addressed by the government. Regarding an incident in Bara involving CPN-UML leaders, Minister Kharel said that although the event was regrettable, vigilance by the Home Ministry and security forces prevented serious damage, and the situation has now stabilized. He affirmed that such incidents will not disrupt the elections. After the meeting, CPN leader Barshaman Pun stated that his party is fully prepared for elections and has already registered on Mangsir 1. He added that the main challenges lie not with smaller parties, but with the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, whose leaders are still adjusting to being out of government. Pun urged these parties to create an atmosphere of trust and address their hesitations so the elections can proceed smoothly. The government’s dialogue with such a large number of parties underscores its determination to ensure a secure, transparent, and participatory electoral process in Nepal. Stuut raises $29.5 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz to automate accounts receivable
I absolutely have, but if you haven’t-it’s a rollicking reality TV jaunt through some of the messiest jobs out there. There are rattlesnake catchers, sure, but there are also a deluge of examples of industrial jobs like pipefitting, car crushing, and concrete chipping. “Those are our customers,” Alaruri says proudly. Alaruri’s startup, Stuut, is in a messy business of its own-accounts receivable, the money due to a company for goods or services that have been delivered, but not yet been paid for. And there’s a reason Stuut focuses on those companies. In tech, companies tend to have “a big wad of cash in your bank account from VCs,” Alaruri said. But for many of Stuut’s customers, collecting payment is existential: “These companies actually need the revenue to pay bonuses. They actually need the revenue to pay holiday bonuses, and need to hire more people to scale their growth.” Alaruri cofounded Stuut (a name drawn from a South African rugby term meaning “prop” or “to hold up”) with Ben Winter and Miraj Mohsin in 2024. Stuut uses AI to automate accounts receivable, including invoice follow-up, tasks around payment reconciliation, and keeping human employees alerted. So far, Stuut’s customers have included Honeywell, PerkinElmer, Verifone, Wayfair, Active International, and Greenlight Guru. And to be abundantly clear: Alaruri is perfectly happy to work with tech companies, should they be interested. Now, Stuut has raised a $29. 5 million Series A, led by Andreessen Horowitz, Fortune has exclusively learned. Activant Capital, Khosla Ventures, 1984 Ventures, Carya Venture Partners, Page One Ventures, Vesey Ventures, and Valley Ventures participated in the round. Stuut and its customers are trying to solve an effectively universal problem: Companies can lose as much as 5% of EBITDA by tracking down payments manually. Stuut’s customer acquisition so far has come primarily from cold calls and network effects. And, compared to other businesses, it’s been a pretty easy pitch: I can automatically collect your money that you’re owed. And the ramp-up has been fast. “We technically started the business at the beginning of last year,” said Alaruri. “But I’d say Day One was really around November, December of last year. We started seeing impact. We had a company called CharterUp go live in two days, collect $3. 4 million, and see a 20% increase in collection.” These are also companies interested in their piece of the AI action-but need a product that fulfills its promises. “You have to be able to prove you can do what you say you’re going to do [with AI],” said Alaruri. “You look at the older wave of software and you have people promising automation-and they take 12, 18, 24 months to deploy. So it matters if you say ‘hey, we can save you 40% in six months, and we’ll get up and running next week,’ and you then can execute.” See you tomorrow, Allie Garfinkle X:@agarfinks Email: alexandra. garfinkle@fortuneletter here. Oodie reduces hooded blankets to £1 in sale starting tonight
People need to register ahead of time to access the £1 sale Oodie is set to kick off its annual £1 sale on Thursday evening, November 20, perfectly timed for Black Friday and the holiday shopping season. Last year, when the sale launched, a huge number of hooded blankets flew off the shelves within minutes, and a similar rush is anticipated tonight. A hooded blanket is often described as an excellent way to stay cosy and may even help you cut down on energy expenses. Financial experts, including Martin Lewis, suggest strategies like “heat the human, not the home,” and a quality hooded blanket can support this by trapping your body heat and providing insulation. By keeping you warm enough to reduce reliance on central heating or to set it at a lower temperature, you consume less energy, which in turn decreases your utility bills. Some users have even reported that they’ve completely stopped using their heating in certain situations. Which Oodie hooded blanket is going on sale for £1 tonight? One of the best-selling hooded blankets available on the Oodie website is the Grey Original Oodie, which will be offered for only £1 tonight. Typically, it retails for £65, but at this moment, it’s priced at just £32 due to a Black Friday promotion, and later, it will be available for just £1 for the first 1, 000 customers. This blanket is made with a ToastyTek Outer, a unique innovation by Oodie. It consists of a ‘cosy’ fleece crafted from an “ultra-fine” micro thread that feels “incredibly soft” to the touch. The interior of the Grey Original Oodie features a soft sherpa fleece lining. The pockets are designed to be extra large, making it easy for people to carry their phones, snacks, and other necessities. The hood is oversized, and the entire blanket is characterised as “spacious and comfortable”. You have the option to choose between two sizes: ‘small/medium’ or ‘one size fits most’. What do shoppers say about the hooded blanket? On the Oodie website, the hooded blanket has an average rating of 4. 9 out of 5 stars from customers, with 99% of them recommending it. One person said: “I love it! It’s perfect for winter and such good quality!” A second put: “Great to wear on a cold morning straight from bed or a shower. Even outside cold weather can’t beat it but I tend to look like a very warm Abominable Snowman.” A third wrote: “They are comfy, and like an all encompassing hug in the cooler weather.” However, one shopper claimed: “Unhappy as stitching around pocket area came undone only after 3 days, my husband wearing it.” Oodie was founded in 2018 by Davie Fogarty because he wanted to “change the way we think about comfort”. These “super soft” and “cosy” wearable blankets have become a favourite for many people in the UK when fall and winter come around, mainly because of their big hoods and pockets. How can Oodie shoppers access the £1 sale? The sale will start at 7pm on November 20, 2025. It will end when all 1, 000 £1 Grey Oodie Originals are sold out. To have a chance to get one, you must sign up for the sale in advance by visiting the Oodie website using this link and entering your email address. Oodie will send you an email to confirm that you signed up to be notified, and they will email you again two hours before the sale starts. You can also add your phone number to get a text message when the £1 sale begins. The sale is first-come, first-served. There are only 1, 000 Grey Original Oodies available in this special sale. A spokesperson mentioned: “Last year we sold out in minutes! Make sure to log in early to get your Oodie.” When the pink countdown timer at the top of the page ends, refresh the page once, and a ‘CLICK HERE TO SHOP’ button will show up in the banner below the pink bar. Click it to shop the £1 Grey Oodie Original deal. This offer is not available on The Oodie App. To make your checkout process faster, ensure you have an account set up and are logged in before the sale begins. Do not refresh the page while checking out.

XRP’s new spot ETF is drawing institutional attention, while retail investors are turning to LeanHash for daily XRP earnings during market volatility. With Bitwise Asset Management announcing the official listing of its spot XRP ETF on the NYSE, market focus has once again returned to this long-active payment digital asset. Against the backdrop of the continued rise in altcoin funds and the influx of institutional funds, XRP is becoming a “convergence point” between traditional capital markets and the blockchain world. The ETF’s debut, with its 0. 34% management fee, $500 million management fee waiver policy, and high on-chain activity, has attracted institutional investors, pushing XRP to a higher level of compliance and professionalism. However, unlike institutions choosing ETFs as long-term allocation tools, ordinary investors are more concerned with how to obtain tangible cash flow during periods of high price volatility. ETFs are stable but do not generate daily returns, and this structural difference in demand is quietly amplifying. Therefore, a new trend is rapidly emerging: more and more XRP holders are flocking to LeanHash, a leading global platform for mining-based digital assets, to earn daily passive income by participating in mining and distribution mechanisms. LeanHash drives returns with real computing power, freeing holders from dependence on market fluctuations and ensuring a stable cash flow even during periods of low prices or sideways movement. This makes LeanHash the most popular way for retail investors to generate XRP revenue outside of ETFs, and it also fills the gap in market strategy polarization. Institutions use ETFs to allocate long-term value, while retail investors use LeanHash to obtain daily returns, jointly driving the ecosystem expansion and value reshaping of XRP in 2025. How to get started with LeanHash 1. Visit the LeanHash website and create an account to receive a $15 bonus. 2. Choose a suitable contract term based on individual budget and expected returns. 3. Start mining. Earnings are calculated daily. Upon successful purchase, the user will receive a stable daily return: $12,000 x 1. 76% = $211. 20. After 40 days, the principal plus returns will be: $12,000 + $211. 20 x 42 days = $12,000 + $8,870. 40 = $20,870. 40. This platform offers a variety of stable, high-yield contracts. About LeanHash LeanHash is a leading intelligent cloud computing platform. With HashFi at its core, it provides stable, sustainable, and low-risk daily yield solutions for holders of mainstream assets such as BTC, ETH, and XRP. Through global computing nodes and advanced AI scheduling algorithms, LeanHash has established a price-independent daily passive income stream for over 3 million users. Conclusion The launch of the Bitwise XRP ETF is undoubtedly a significant milestone for the market, symbolizing the traditional financial world’s recognition of XRP’s long-term value. However, what truly allows XRP to maintain its vitality during the current volatile period is on-chain infrastructure like LeanHash. For institutions, the ETF makes XRP a configurable asset; for retail investors, LeanHash makes XRP a sustainable yield asset. Together, they are accelerating XRP’s evolution from a “speculative asset” to a “functional asset + cash flow asset.”.

After 8 years of positive reviews, Fallout 4 drops back down to a “Mostly Negative” Steam rating – and it’s all thanks to Bethesda’s disastrous Anniversary Edition launch
The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition hasn’t exactly been going over well with fans since launch, with reports of the update accompanying Bethesda Game Studios’ big release breaking mods the game itself, too and new paid DLC falling short of impressing players. It’s been a wild time for Fallout stans recently, with the Anniversary Edition update wreaking havoc, reports of DLC “no longer being recognized as ‘owned'” floating about, and Bethesda struggling to address the problems “as quick as we can” post-launch. Reviews on Steam saw a “Mostly Negative” rating emerge for the new edition’s Creation Club content but they’ve now spread to the base game itself, as criticism floods fans’ feedback. In fact, this is the first time in a whopping eight years that Fallout 4 sits on Valve’s platform with a “Mostly Negative” recent reception it’s been some form of “Mixed” and then positive since a low drop in September of 2017. Just mouse over “Date Range” on the game’s reviews and select “Show graph” to see what has been a generally steady, nearly decade-long period of decent ratings for Fallout 4. and then look at November of this year. That’s when the reviews fall to “Mostly Negative” and the drop has come suddenly, coinciding with the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition. You can read some of the recent comments left to get a glimpse at what players are thinking as well. “Unplayable,” writes one. Another delves into why they find it so. “The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition update is absolutely terrible,” they explain. “It broke mods that were previously running perfectly.” They add that “Bethesda isn’t showing much genuine effort” at cleaning things up. Elsewhere in the reviews, a disappointed fan exclaims, “Why, Bethesda?! Bring mods back!” Somebody else similarly says, “Thanks, Bethesda, for ruining the game I loved! Ruining the game I play on my sad days!” It’s safe to say that Fallout 4 is not in good shape right now, judging by the reviews on Steam alone and honestly, I get it. As a longtime lover of Bethesda’s RPGs (except Starfield, we don’t claim you), I’m staying away from the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition myself until it’s in a much better state here’s hoping it’s as fun as Skyrim’s own Anniversary Edition one day.
