‘I would’ve went to jail’: Tate McRae takes group photo with fan’s phone at Austin concert. Then a woman next to the fan asks for the picture

**Tate McRae Concert Experience Turns Sour for One Fan**

Recently, Tate McRae has been delighting fans on her tour. However, one excited fan’s concert experience quickly turned into a bitter disappointment.

In a nine-minute TikTok clip that has amassed over 713,000 views, TikToker Ellen Khan (@everythingellen_) shared the full story. She began by explaining that she’s a huge fan of the singer, even driving almost four hours to see her in concert. Khan mentioned that she secured tickets within arm’s reach of the standing area right next to the stage.

As the concert progressed, Khan noted that Tate McRae was engaging with fans at the edge of the stage, taking photos on their phones. At one point, McRae took the phone of the girl standing beside Khan to snap a photo. Khan asked the girl to send her the photo afterward, but the girl didn’t respond and instead claimed her phone was about to die.

In response, Khan kindly offered the girl a battery pack, which the girl used for the rest of the concert.

### What Happened With the Photo?

After the concert ended, Khan once again asked the girl to send the photo. To her shock, the girl responded, asking for a price. Initially, she demanded $200, but after some pushback, she lowered the price to $100.

“I was like stunned at how awful she turned,” Khan noted. She emphasized how rare it is for an artist to take a photo like that on someone’s phone, pointing out that fans hardly ever get that lucky.

To make matters worse, when Khan asked for her battery pack back, the girl refused and kept the charger.

### Searching for the Photo

In search of the photo, Khan combed through all relevant hashtags but was unsuccessful in finding it. However, she did notice that on the other side of the concert, a similar photo was taken by another fan—and this fan shared the image freely, resulting in it being passed around multiple times.

“I hope Tate McRae sees this because guess what, you have an un-girl’s girl at your concert, and I got a picture with you and I can’t get it,” Khan concluded.

### TikTok Reaction

The TikTok comments flooded in with users expressing outrage on Khan’s behalf.

– “Oh hellllllllllllllllll noooooooooooooooooo ok I’m actually fuming,” one user wrote.
– “I would’ve went to jail,” another admitted.
– A third tagged Tate McRae, saying, “If Tate McRae knew this !!!! She would not support that mean girl!!”
– Another comment added, “The way my jaw hit the floor.”

### A Plot Twist

The story took a turn when the girl in question commented on Khan’s TikTok, claiming she had actually sent the video. In response, Khan posted a follow-up video calling out the girl’s behavior at the concert, highlighting that the fact it was a video, not a photo, showed just how out of the loop the girl was.

Khan also shared a screenshot from Instagram showing the girl had asked her to take the video down. She thanked viewers for their support, saying, “The fact that I was able to use TikTok and all you amazing girls to be able to get the video is just amazing.”

### Artists Speak Out on Bad Concert Behavior

Khan isn’t the only TikToker to call out poor concert behavior. In the UK, musician and YouTuber James Marriott (@toomuchmarriott) shared his own troubling experience with an audience member touching him inappropriately during a show.

“If you’re ever going to see someone’s show, whoever they are, they don’t want that,” he said. “So, whether it’s fellow concert-goers or the artist in question, respect is always key.”

Taoiseach would have ‘no issue’ with Donald Trump addressing Dáil

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said he would have “no issue” with US President Donald Trump addressing the Dáil when he visits Ireland.

Speaking in New York during his visit for the UN General Assembly, Mr Martin stated that “personally” he would have no objection to Mr Trump addressing the Dáil.

The Ryder Cup, currently taking place at the Bethpage Black golf course in New York, is scheduled to be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick in 2027. Given Mr Trump’s well-known interest in golf—he attended the first day of this year’s Ryder Cup—he may well decide to attend the event.

In addition, Mr Trump might also visit Ireland next year as the 2026 Irish Open is set to take place at his Doonbeg resort.

Regarding the possibility of an address to the Oireachtas, Mr Martin said such an event “would depend,” noting that there would likely be differing opinions. He commented:

“We don’t dictate the content of a speech of anybody who is invited to speak to the Oireachtas. But we will jump those hurdles when we come to them. The last couple of speeches we had there, some went on far too long. Previous times you might have had two or three speeches when a dignitary came. Now it is 10 or 11. It is not the occasion it once was, that would be a concern of mine. There has to be common sense in how these things are handled at parliamentary level but that’s a matter for the Ceann Comhairle.”

When asked about potential protests from political parties, Mr Martin acknowledged:

“That’s realpolitik. People are going to have different views and they are going to protest. It is going to happen, it happened in the UK, there were protests. You have to look at what strategically the objective is.”

IND Vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025 Final: ‘He Is A Run Machine,’ Says Wasim Akram As He Slams Haris Rauf’s Bowling Performance After Pakistan’s Humiliating Loss

In the aftermath of Pakistan’s defeat to India in the Asia Cup 2025 final, legendary former pacer Wasim Akram didn’t mince words as he assessed Pakistan’s bowling performance, particularly that of Haris Rauf, who endured a nightmare spell in Dubai.

Speaking on live broadcast, Akram described Rauf as a “run machine, especially against India,” a sharp remark that captured the disappointment surrounding the pacer’s performance. India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets, chasing down the target of 147 with two balls to spare, thanks to composed batting performances by Tilak Varma (69) and Shivam Dube (33).

Much of the blame for Pakistan’s loss fell on their bowling attack, and Rauf’s figures stood out for all the wrong reasons. The right-arm pacer conceded 50 runs in just 3.4 overs, leaking boundaries at crucial stages of the match and failing to provide the breakthroughs his team desperately needed. His wayward lengths and inability to adapt under pressure allowed Indian batters to score freely, turning the tide firmly in India’s favour.

Wasim Akram, Pakistan’s most respected fast bowling voice, offered a scathing analysis during the post-match show. “He is a run machine, especially against India,” Akram said. The comment, laced with frustration, highlighted the growing concern around Rauf’s performances in big matches, particularly against India, where he has repeatedly failed to deliver.

Whether this remark serves as a wake-up call for Rauf or adds further pressure on him ahead of future India-Pakistan clashes remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: Wasim Akram’s verdict has reignited the debate on how Pakistan’s pace battery handles the heat when facing their fiercest rivals.

IND Vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025 Final: Haris Rauf Sparks Controversy Once Again With Plane-Crashing Gesture After Taking Abhishek Sharma’s Catch; Video

The Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan in Dubai was always expected to be high on intensity, and it delivered on that promise both in action and emotion.

One of the most talked-about moments from the match came when Haris Rauf, Pakistan’s fiery pacer, took a sharp catch to dismiss India’s rising star Abhishek Sharma. He then followed it with a now-controversial plane-crashing gesture that grabbed headlines.

The dismissal occurred during a crucial phase of India’s chase. Abhishek Sharma looked to clear the infield but mistimed his shot. Positioned in the mid-on region, Rauf charged in and held on to a low, pressure catch.

As teammates rushed in to celebrate, Rauf made a striking hand gesture, mimicking a crashing airplane—an act he had previously done in the Super 4 stage of the tournament.

This wasn’t the first time Rauf has been involved in such theatrics. His original use of the gesture earlier in the tournament drew mixed reactions, but the Asia Cup final stage amplified its visibility and controversy.

As the Asia Cup 2025 final enters the books, moments like Rauf’s celebration will remain part of the narrative—a reminder that in matches like these, emotions often fly just as high as the stakes.

Maharashtra Govt Approves Rs 2,528 Crore Nashik-Vadhavan Expressway Project

The state government has granted in-principle approval for the ambitious Nashik (Igatpuri)–Vadhavan Expressway and Freight Corridor Highway project, which will connect Nashik district to Vadhavan Port in Palghar. This major infrastructure initiative is set to boost connectivity and economic growth in the region.

The project, to be implemented by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), includes a 104.90 km freight corridor between Vadhavan Port (Tawa) and the Bharveer interchange on the Samruddhi Mahamarg. At its meeting on August 5, 2025, the cabinet approved administrative sanctions worth Rs 2,528.90 crore. This amount covers estimated land acquisition costs of Rs 1,500 crore and potential interest of Rs 1,028.90 crore.

To support the financing of the project, the state government has also decided to provide a guarantee for the loan to be raised from the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO).

### Bhujbal’s Push for Integrated Planning

State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal had earlier advocated for coordinated implementation of the Nashik (Igatpuri)–Vadhavan Expressway and the proposed Nashik–Vadhavan Railway Line. In letters sent to Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on March 24, 2025, and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on April 6, 2025, Bhujbal emphasized that joint planning would save costs and maximize the overall benefits from both infrastructure projects.

Responding to his appeal, the government cleared the freight corridor and assured its full support for timely execution of the project.

### Boost to Maharashtra’s Economy

Officials noted that this decision will significantly ease the movement of industrial and agricultural products from Nashik, Marathwada, Vidarbha, and adjoining regions to international markets. Vadhavan Port, envisioned as one of India’s deepest and most modern terminals, will offer direct connectivity to international trade routes such as IMEEC and INSTC.

This expressway and freight corridor are expected to provide a cost-effective gateway for exports, enhancing Maharashtra’s position in global trade.

### Leadership’s Response

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with Minister Bhujbal, welcomed the government’s decision. They described it as a historic milestone for Maharashtra’s economic development and infrastructure expansion.

Minister Bhujbal also assured that he will continue to closely monitor the project’s progress to ensure its timely completion and successful implementation.

Amit Mishra Narrates How ‘Captain Cool’ MS Dhoni Lost His Cool After Champions Trophy 2013 Final Win

New Delhi: Experienced leg-spinner Amit Mishra revealed some memorable moments from the aftermath of India’s historic victory at the 2013 Champions Trophy in Birmingham. The final was a nail-biting contest that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very last ball.

On June 23, 2013, under the leadership of ‘Captain Cool’ MS Dhoni, India created cricketing history by defeating the hosts England to lift the Champions Trophy. India successfully defended a modest target of 130 runs, thanks to a spirited bowling performance that sealed a thrilling five-run victory.

Mishra shared insights into the celebrations that followed the win. “After winning the Champions Trophy, nobody went to their rooms. Everyone stayed in the dressing room for three to four hours, just soaking in the moment. Everyone was saying let’s celebrate, but no one wanted to leave,” he told ANI.

Known for his calm demeanor, Dhoni also showed a rare glimpse of unbridled joy. “Dhoni is a very cool captain, but on that night, he was clearly very happy and was truly enjoying the moment,” Mishra added.

The final itself was a rollercoaster. India’s innings was anchored early on by Virat Kohli (43) and Shikhar Dhawan (31), putting India in a strong position. However, an unexpected middle-order collapse saw the team slump to 66/5. Ravindra Jadeja then played a crucial unbeaten knock of 33 runs, helping India reach 129/7.

In response, Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin bowled with great discipline, taking two wickets each and maintaining tight control over the runs. Their efforts thwarted England’s chase and secured India’s victory by five runs.

The celebrations that unfolded after the win remain etched in the memory of Indian cricket fans. From warm embraces among teammates to Virat Kohli’s iconic Gangnam Style dance and the enthusiastic cheers of the fans, the night in Birmingham still resonates as a cherished moment in Indian cricket history.
