**Tomra Systems ASA Reports Q3 Financial Results**

Tomra Systems ASA announced its financial results for the third quarter, reporting a Non-GAAP EPS of EUR 0.05. The company recorded a revenue of EUR 306 million, representing a 6.1% decrease year-over-year.

Cash flow from operations amounted to EUR 64 million, compared to EUR 99 million in the same period last year.

In the recycling segment, order intake was EUR 42 million, with an order backlog of EUR 109 million. Both figures declined by 30% and 19%, respectively.

Conversely, the food segment showed growth, with an order intake of EUR 77 million and an order backlog of EUR 138 million — increases of 6% and 21%, respectively.

Mobile Battery Catches Fire on Osaka Metro, Two Women Injured

According to police reports, the fire started when a female passenger’s mobile battery, kept inside her bag, suddenly ignited while the train was running.

The owner of the battery and a woman sitting next to her suffered burns and were immediately taken to the hospital. Fortunately, their injuries are considered minor.

As a result of the incident, Osaka Metro temporarily suspended operations in both directions of the Midosuji Line. This disruption affected more than 50,000 passengers before service was eventually restored.
