Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state will now host the Travel Mart annually on fixed dates — October 11, 12, and 13 — joining the ranks of Kerala and Rajasthan in institutionalizing this key tourism event.

Bhopal News: 182 Students Awarded Degrees Via Blockchain At IIIT’s 4th Convocation

**IIIT Bhopal Awards B.Tech Degrees via Blockchain at Fourth Convocation**

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Nearly 182 students of the 2025 batch were awarded their B.Tech degrees through blockchain technology at the fourth convocation of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) held here on Saturday.

Of these graduates, 47 students were from Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), 66 from Information Technology (IT), and 69 from Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

Gold medals were awarded to Gaurav Mahesh (ECE), Manjeet Pathak (IT), and Pranjal Dubey (CSE). Pranjal Dubey, who achieved the highest CGPA in the batch, received an additional gold medal in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. Silver medals went to Kundan Kumar Gupta (ECE), Jia Rathore (IT), and Ishan Kumar (CSE).

This was the institute’s second time awarding degrees using blockchain technology, underscoring its commitment to adopting cutting-edge innovations in digital credentialing.

Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, the chief guest at the event, inspired the graduating students with a personal message: “Tempo high hai.” He highlighted examples of notable personalities such as Mark Zuckerberg, Michael Dell, and Steve Jobs, who succeeded in building major companies despite not having formal degrees. He emphasized that while degrees provide a solid foundation, true success comes from one’s actions and determination.

Professor Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Director of IIIT Bhopal, announced that new land has been allocated to the college for the construction of state-of-the-art laboratories, promising enhanced facilities for future students.

Bhopal News: Gau Rakshak Group, Locals Clash Over Calf At Kolar Road Area

Tension Erupts Over Calf’s Condition in Bhopal’s Kolar Road Area

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Tension flared in the Kolar Road area on Sunday when members of a self-proclaimed Gau Rakshak Dal and a local family got into a scuffle over the condition of a calf. The incident took place at the residence of Saroj Trivedi in Vandana Nagar and ended with complaints being filed by both parties, prompting police to initiate an investigation.

According to reports, around four to five persons identifying themselves as members of Bajrang Dal and Gau Raksha arrived at Trivedi’s house, claiming that a calf on the premises was unwell. Trivedi denied the claim and insisted the calf was fine. The discussion quickly escalated into an argument, followed by verbal abuse and a physical altercation.

Following the incident, Saroj Trivedi submitted a written complaint at the Kolar Road police station. Meanwhile, Gau Rakshak members—Priyanshu Gupta, Rohit Balmik, and Abhishek Rajput—filed a counter-complaint. They alleged that they had come only to help the calf based on information received but were instead verbally abused and physically assaulted by the family.

Kolar police station in-charge Sanjay Soni confirmed that written complaints from both sides have been received. He added that legal action will be taken after a thorough investigation into the matter.

Cow Slaughter Accused Arrested Under NSA in Aishbagh

In a separate development, Aishbagh police arrested an accused in a cow slaughter case under the National Security Act (NSA) on Sunday. Vijay Bahadur Singh Sengar, in-charge of Aishbagh police station, said a special team was formed to execute the NSA arrest warrant.

The accused, identified as Mohd Rusi (48), son of Mohd Jabbar and resident of Kammu Ka Bagh, Aishbagh, was wanted in connection with cow slaughter. An NSA warrant had been issued against him earlier.

On Sunday, police received a tip-off that the wanted man was seen near Subhash Crossing. The team rushed to the spot and took him into custody. After a medical examination, the accused was produced before the magistrate and later sent to jail.

**Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): State Officials to Discuss Key Issues at Upcoming Conference**

State officials in Madhya Pradesh have been deliberating over eight critical issues for the past two days in preparation for a major conference of collectors and commissioners scheduled for October 7 and 8, falling between the festivities of Dussehra and Diwali.

The conference will see the participation of additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, secretaries, commissioners, inspectors general of police, superintendents of police, commissioners of municipal corporations, and chief executive officers of district Panchayats. Ministers from all departments and senior officers will also join to engage in detailed discussions.

### Conference Structure and Sessions

The two-day conference will include eight sessions, each dedicated to a specific theme. On the first day, topics such as health and nutrition, education, tribal and rural development, and law and order will be discussed. The second day will focus on urban administration, employment and industrialization, agriculture, and good governance.

Each session is allotted between one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes. During this time, there will be detailed presentations on each subject, followed by a question-and-answer segment and working presentations, culminating in a session conclusion.

### Key Topics to Be Covered

– **Health Sector:** Discussions will cover Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), malnutrition, sickle cell disease, and cloud control.
– **Education:** Focus will be on providing quality education and initiatives like Nipun Bharat.
– **Tribal Welfare and Rural Development:** Programs such as PM’s Jan Man, Adi Karmayogi, and the distribution of Pattas will be reviewed.
– **Law and Order:** Officials will address three key criminal laws, mining issues, crime control, cloud control, and road safety.

On the second day:

– **Urban Development:** Topics include the PM Housing Scheme and the Amrit Yojna.
– **Employment and Industrialization:** Discussions will revolve around skill development, startups, and PM Gati Shakti.
