In the latest promo for **Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar**, host Salman Khan confronted contestant Neelam Giri over her refusal to cook following a disagreement with fellow housemate Gaurav Khanna.

### The Incident

During a recent task, Gaurav Khanna made a comment about Neelam only cooking and not contributing in other ways to the game. Although Khanna later clarified that his remark was part of the task, Neelam decided to give up on her cooking duty altogether, refusing to continue.

### The Confrontation

In the promo, Salman asked Neelam, *“Playground wale task mein karna kya tha?”* (What were you supposed to do in the playground task?), to which she replied, *“Bura bura bolna tha.”* (We had to say bad things.)

Salman then questioned why she was taking out her anger on everyone else for something Khanna said as part of the task. Neelam responded that she simply didn’t feel like cooking after that incident.

### Salman’s Criticism: A ‘Weak Competitor’

Salman didn’t hold back and criticized Neelam sharply for not clearly voicing her opinions in the house. He labeled her a “weak competitor,” saying:

*“Iss ghar mein aapka jo opinion hai, woh saamne aata hi nahi hai. Sach kadwa hota hai. Ki aap ek aisi weak competitor ho, ki inko aapse koi khatra nahi hai.”*

(“This is exactly the problem, Neelam. In this house, your opinions never come forward. The truth is bitter. You are such a weak competitor that no one here sees you as a threat.”)

The promo has sparked reactions among fans, many of whom support Salman Khan’s stance. One viewer commented, “Salman Khan is right,” while another wrote, “Thank God he raised this issue.”

Others urged fellow contestants to take notice, with a fan saying, “Tell Amaal and Shehbaz also, they were supporting Neelam. Gaurav was right.”

Meanwhile, Neelam Giri finds herself among the contestants nominated for eviction this week.

Telugu superstar Jr. NTR has reportedly opted out of the much-anticipated Hindi-Telugu biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, widely regarded as the father of Indian cinema. According to reports from Deccan Chronicle, the actor is now focusing on his Telugu film career alongside Prashanth Neel’s upcoming project, *Dragon*.

### Why Did Jr. NTR Exit?

A source close to the project revealed multiple reasons behind Jr. NTR’s decision. Firstly, the actor is currently reluctant to portray a real-life personality, especially a legendary figure from the past.

The source told Deccan Chronicle, “At the moment, NTR doesn’t want to play a real-life character, and that too a legend from the past.”

Secondly, the biopic was set to be directed by S.S. Rajamouli’s son, Karthik Rajamouli, rather than Rajamouli himself, which may have influenced his choice.

Most importantly, Aamir Khan is also working on a separate Dadasaheb Phalke biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The source added, “Doing another of the same serves no purpose.”

Despite Jr. NTR’s exit and objections raised by Phalke’s grandson, Chandrashekhar Srikrishna Pusalkar, director S.S. Rajamouli is reportedly moving ahead with the biopic project.
