Amari McCottry scores 23 to lead Saint Louis over Lindenwood 109-66

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Amari McCottry scored 23 points off the bench to lead Saint Louis to a dominant 109-66 victory over Lindenwood on Monday night. McCottry also contributed nine rebounds and four steals, helping the Billikens improve to 3-0 on the season.

Dion Brown was efficient for Saint Louis, shooting 6 of 7 from the field and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line, finishing with 17 points. Ishan Sharma added 16 points, hitting 4 of 8 from the field, including an impressive 4 of 6 from beyond the arc, and went 4 of 5 from the charity stripe.

For Lindenwood, Jadis Jones led the Lions with 16 points. Dontrez Williams added 13 points along with four steals and two blocks, while Clayton Jackson chipped in 11 points.

Saint Louis took control of the game with 19:14 remaining in the first half and never looked back. The Billikens held a 43-27 lead at halftime on their way to the convincing win.
