She loved his eyes, “blue as the flame.” She admired his insatiable appetites and his “particular complications and particular darkness,” The Times profile began. “But she said ‘I love you’ only after he said it first. He called her ‘Livvy’ and wrote her poems. He said he wanted her to have his baby. He promised to take a bullet for her.”

She told The Times she hasn’t spoken with Kennedy in over a year and declined to weigh in on his job in the Trump administration. On what came over her, she joked, “Maybe it was the vaccines.”

A representative for Kennedy did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. A spokesperson previously denied any sort of physical relationship had occurred and said he had only met Nuzzi once.

Nuzzi has maintained that she never had a physical relationship with him but did engage in “personal” communications. Kennedy remains married to actress Cheryl Hines.

The alleged “sexting” scandal led to the end of Nuzzi’s engagement to Politico’s then-chief Washington correspondent and Playbook co-author Ryan Lizza (he has since left the outlet).

New York Magazine dismissed Nuzzi following the revelations and conducted a probe that concluded it found “no inaccuracies nor evidence of bias” in her work.

In September, Vanity Fair announced it had hired Nuzzi as the magazine’s West Coast editor.

Gilmer police arrested a man on Friday after he posted a threat on social media claiming he wanted to shoot the tires of cars that skip the student pickup line at Gilmer Intermediate School.

Officers obtained an expedited warrant and took Adolfo Lopez into custody without incident, according to police. He was arrested for Terroristic Threat under Texas Penal Code §22.07.

“At no time were students or staff in immediate danger,” the Gilmer Police Department (GPD) stated. “GPD remains committed to protecting our schools and community.”

The Facebook post, made by Lopez at 11:58 a.m. on Friday, remained visible as of 6:04 p.m. It read:
“Gilmer Intermediate School I want to shoot every cars tires that skips the pick up waiting line making that U-turn. Fix it asap that is absolute [expletive] that me and many others are waiting in line and obeying the rules.”

The post drew immediate reactions. At 3:46 p.m., another Facebook user commented, “you finna go to jail brother” [sic]. At 3:57 p.m., Lopez replied, “This was posted for a reason and I will not take it down.”

Later at 5:34 p.m., another user wrote: “I just saw the Gilmer PD statement released. Hope you and your kids are OK. But, yeah. this was definitely not the smartest thing to post.”
