US Files Charges In Decades-Old Double Homicide, Wants Man Extradited From India

US Files Charges In Decades-Old Double Homicide, Wants Man Extradited From India Photo: FBI Newark officers at a press conference on Nazeer Hameed who is wanted for murder in NJ. The Burlington County Prosecutor’s office announced on November 18 that Nazeer Hameed has been charged with the double homicide of 38-year-old Sasikala Narra and her six-year-old son, Anish Narra. The victims were found dead by Sasikala’s husband, Hanu Narra, over eight years ago. Hameed, who was in the US on a work visa, was a colleague of Hanu Narra at a New Jersey-based company and resided in the same apartment complex as the family. The suspect reportedly left for India six months after the murders and was believed to be residing there ever since. He was initially identified as a person of interest after being accused of stalking the husband. The charges followed a critical development in the investigation involving DNA evidence. Although Hameed denied an earlier request for a DNA sample, investigators were determined to proceed. In 2024, they obtained a court order compelling his employer, Cognizant, to provide his company-issued laptop. After the laptop was transported to a New Jersey State Police DNA Laboratory in September and October 2024, a DNA contributor was successfully obtained from the device. This sample matched unknown blood found at the crime scene. Hameed was subsequently fired by the company. Following the formal charges, the Burlington County Prosecutor requested that the Trump Administration and the Government of India take swift and decisive action to extradite Hameed to face justice in the US. Authorities stated they still have not identified a clear motive for the killings.

3 WWE Superstars who can replace Roman Reigns as a member of Team CM Punk at Survivor Series 2025

Roman Reigns returned on this week’s episode of WWE RAW, neutralizing Brock Lesnar. While the OTC has been announced as part of the babyface team, the issues between him and the other members may lead to Reigns opting out of the WarGames Match. The tension was visible when The Head of the Table had an intense face-off with The Second City Saint after RAW went off the air. If Reigns refuses to participate in the five-on-five bout, these three WWE Superstars could replace him at Survivor Series 2025. Thanks for the submission! #3. LA Knight Fans anticipated that LA Knight would be part of the babyface team for WarGames, as he was at odds with The Vision for months. The Megastar has yet to get his redemption against the heel faction after suffering so many defeats. If Roman Reigns is removed from the upcoming bout, Knight could be an ideal choice to replace the OTC. His addition would be logical storyline-wise and give him some much-needed spotlight. #2. Sami Zayn Sami Zayn has had his fair share of issues with The Vision in the past. Moreover, the Canadian is on good terms with every member of the babyface team, making him a perfect fit to replace Reigns if he refuses to participate in the WarGames Match. Zayn’s addition could bring some much-needed cohesion to the team, increasing its chance of defeating Team Vision at Survivor Series. #1. John Cena could replace Roman Reigns John Cena is set to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series. However, since Cena is retiring in less than a month, fans wanted him to compete in the WarGames Match, something he has never done before. Moreover, The GOAT had a brief encounter with The Vision at Night of Champions 2025, something that could be revisited if Cena joins the babyface team for the five-on-five bout on November 29. Therefore, he could replace Roman Reigns and pull off double duty in his last WWE Premium Live Event appearance.

The American Century U. S. Quality Growth ETF (QGRO Free Report) was launched on 09/10/2018, and is a smart beta exchange traded fund designed to offer broad exposure to the Style Box All Cap Growth category of the market. What are smart Beta ETFs? Market cap weighted indexes were created to reflect the market, or a specific segment of the market, and the ETF industry has traditionally been dominated by products based on this strategy. Market cap weighted indexes offer a low-cost, convenient, and transparent way of replicating market returns, and are a good option for investors who believe in markeHowever, some investors believe in the possibility of beating the market through exceptional stock selection, and choose a different type of fund that tracks non-cap weighted strategies: smart beta. Based on specific fundamental characteristics, or a combination of such, these indexes attempt to pick stocks that have a better chance of risk-return performance. This area offers many different investment choices, such as simplest equal-weighting, fundamental weighting and volatility/momentum based weighting methodologies; however, not all of these strategies can deliver superior results. Fund sponsor and index QGRO is managed by American Century Investments, and this fund has amassed over $2. 04 billion, which makes it one of the largest ETFs in the Style Box All Cap Growth. Why gardening mishaps are a (sometimes painful) part of the process

By Jessica Damiano | The Associated Press I’ll be the first to admit there have been a few frights in my garden over the years, starting with the English ivy and pea-gravel mulch I inherited when I moved into the house and ending with the mint I foolishly planted directly in the ground many years ago, when I didn’t realize it would still be around to haunt me today. Did I say “ending with?” Who am I kidding? I’m still causing all sorts of mayhem in my beds and borders. Recently, I had to hire a landscaper to remove the creeping Liriope I mistook for the clumping type. The poor guy toiled with a pickaxe for more than three hours. I’m just glad he didn’t come after me with it. In the process, I lost many of the weedy groundcover’s mature perennial and bulb neighbors, and it will be years before the new plantings mature and the border returns to its former abundant glory. Plenty of blame Some ghastly garden scenarios, like my mint mishap, are clearly our own fault, but the blame for others can fall squarely on outsiders, like the nurseries that mislabel plants or the squirrels that “plant” invasive species among our natives. Either way, the cleanup falls to us. Nobody knows this better than John and Mary Richardson of Port Jefferson Station, New York, who wrote to tell me about that one time they were advised to apply cayenne pepper around their vegetable plants to repel the critters that were wreaking havoc on their harvests. “We happily and liberally sprinkled it in every bed in the garden,” they told me, adding that they took care to repeat the application after every rainfall to ensure “the protection would continue.” Before long, the couple said, pepper plants were taking over all their vegetable and flower beds. “It had never occurred to us to use ground cayenne and not pepper flakes, which are seeds,” they admitted. Speaking of seeds reminds me of a tale recounted years ago by a reader who was perplexed by the weekly disappearances of tomatoes from his vines. After checking to assess the ripeness of one particularly plump heirloom beauty, he decided to hold off on harvesting for one more day, when he planned to enjoy a tomato-sandwich lunch. But when the salivating sower went out to pick it, that tomato, too, was nowhere to be found. It was lawn-mowing day, he said, and it didn’t take long for him to discover “the landscapers had tomato seeds in their teeth.” I also once heard from a desperate reader who was battling the running bamboo that had been planted by his next-door neighbor. The viciously invasive, iron-rooted plant had grown under the fence dividing their properties and was poking up through his swimming pool liner. I wonder if he had to move. ‘The ultimate rookie mistake’ Then there’s Alyssa Sirek from Granbury, Texas: “With years of horticulture experience, I made the ultimate rookie mistake,” she admitted. “I put a bird feeder directly over our freshly landscaped rockscape and forgot that bird seed is, in fact, seed. “Between the birds flinging seeds like confetti and a few solid Texas rainstorms, our clean rockscape transformed into accidental chaos,” she said. Committed to avoiding pesticides, Sirek spent hours “hand-pulling surprise sprouts, collecting ant bites, knee scrapes, and a bruised ego along the way.” Months later, she said, stray seedlings still pop up from time to time, particularly after storms. Hoping for a fun project to do with her kids, she ordered ladybug larvae by mail. “I released them onto my zucchini plants, later to find out they were actually squash beetles,” she said. “They decimated all of my plants.” And sometimes, it comes with the job. Alice Raimondo says she sees a lot of strange things working as a horticultural lab coordinator at the Cornell Cooperative Extension’s diagnostic clinic in Riverhead, New York, where homeowners bring diseased plants and creepy insects for identification. Once, a woman brought in a wreath she was making out of cones that she’d collected, Raimondo remembers. “She liked the way the cones looked, but after working with a few of them, (she noticed) they wriggled,” she said. “Turns out, they were bagworms,” destructive pests that wrap themselves in “bags” that they construct from leaves and other plant parts. The woman “was pretty grossed out,” Raimondo said. As these brave gardeners can attest, one simple mistake can turn into a gruesome cautionary tale. ___ Jessica Damiano writes weekly gardening columns for the AP and publishes the award-winning Weekly Dirt Newsletter.

The Testament of Ann Lee: Searchlight Releases The Official Poster

Searchlight released the official poster for The Testament of Ann Lee. The historical drama musical film will have a limited theatrical release on Christmas Day. Article Summary Searchlight unveils the official poster for The Testament of Ann Lee, set for a limited release on Christmas Day. The film is a historical drama musical inspired by authentic Shakers music and religious history. Festival reactions have been mixed, with both strong praise and reports of walk-outs from early audiences. Trailer debuted earlier this month; tickets for select theater screenings are available now. December is always such a wild month at the movies. We have big-budget blockbusters looking to draw in large families as they are celebrating the holidays and probably taking some time off from work. Then there are the award contenders attempting to sneak in at the last minute so they can qualify for the Oscars. It means there are moments like last December, where big movies like Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Mufasa: The Lion King, right along with releases like Nosferatu or Babygirl. If there is a time when there is truly something for everyone in theaters, it might be December, because the range is all over the place. A movie like The Testament of Ann Lee is a weird little movie sneaking into theaters on a limited release on Christmas Day. The film is being billed as a “historical drama musical film” where the music is inspired by the real music from the Shakers religion. The reactions from the festival audiences have been all over the place, with some declaring it fantastic, while there were also plenty of rumors of walk-outs as well. It’s a hard pitch on a good day and maybe that’s why Searchlight is only giving the film a limited release. However, this is likely going to be one of those films where, if it clicks with someone, it’s going to be an obsession, and the music alone makes it fascinating. Tickets are on sale now, and Searchlight released the poster after premiering the trailer earlier this month. The Testament of Ann Lee: Summary, Cast List, Release Date From award-winning writer-director Mona Fastvold (The World to Come, The Brutalist) comes the extraordinary true legend of Ann Lee, founder of the devotional sect known as the Shakers.
