“I can’t call him the N-word” – Former WWE announcer shares hilarious story about Vince McMahon; called the former CEO a ‘psychotic’

Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon has shared numerous unforgettable backstage moments that WWE superstars still talk about to this day. Although McMahon is no longer closely associated with the company, there’s no denying that he laid the foundation for the global phenomenon WWE has become. His contributions to the industry will always be remembered.

In a recent appearance on *INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet*, Todd Grisham recounted a hilarious story involving Vince McMahon. The WWE veteran revealed that one day, after using the gym, McMahon approached him and mentioned that he had left weights on the barbell.

Grisham shared the moment:
“And Vince is walking by and he goes, ‘Oh, hey, there’s my boy.’ And I’m like, he’s talking to me. ‘Yeah, yeah, you. I’m your boy, right?’ He starts walking a little closer and he’s like, ‘I saw you going into the weight room the other day.’ I said, ‘Yes sir.’ He goes, ‘You were lifting those weights, weren’t you? Lifting those weights.’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ He goes, ‘You put the weights on the bar, right?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ He goes, ‘But you forgot to take them off.’ I said, ‘Oh.’ He goes, ‘No, no, no, it’s OK. It’s OK.’” [48:50 onwards]

Further elaborating, Grisham revealed that Vince had taken quite some time to decide how to address the issue of leaving the weights on the bar. McMahon reportedly wanted to call him the N-word but realized he couldn’t, so instead, he settled on calling him “boy.”

Grisham explained,
“And he said that Vince thought about how to approach me about that all weekend. ‘I can’t call him the N-word. I’m not his N-word. What can I call him? I’ll call him boy.’ Yeah, OK. And he like planned it. He’s psychotic. But to be fair, later that night, I did the show, walked backstage and he gave me the nod. Like, he’s on to the next subject.”

As such, doing the research to learn about what could happen is paramount once again. Luckily, Sportskeeda has done the work for you, saving you from the task of trying to answer the repetitive question once again. Here’s a look at Chubb and Marks and a decision. Thanks for the submission! Is Nick Chubb a good fantasy pick in Week 12? 70% Win (110-25-1) 70% Win (110-25-1) 70% Win (110-25-1) Unlock Free tips from our Experts Get Picks Now According to Sportskeeda’s Who Should I Start Tool, Nick Chubb is in for a better-than-nothing day against the Buffalo Bills. Chubb is projected to earn 55. 7 rushing yards with a 30% chance of a touchdown on the ground. The receiver is also expected to haul in a catch for 7. 4 yards. The running back overall is a bench player with starting upside in semi-desperate situations. However, how does Woody Marks stack up, and is he the better back to trust? Let’s continue. Is Woody Marks a good fantasy pick in Week 12? Woody Marks is in line for a productive day against the Buffalo Bills. With Davis Mills under center, the team’s ability to throw the ball will be less than optimal, which sets up the running backs for extra work. Sportskeeda’s Who Should I Start Tool has projected Marks to earn 66. 7 yards on the ground with a 50% chance of a touchdown. He will also get some passes thrown his way, with about three catches for 18. 9 yards in his future. Overall, he’s a quality option, but is he better than the former Cleveland Browns running back? Let’s get to the bottom of it. Should I start Nick Chubb or Woody Marks in Week 12 fantasy football? In the end, Woody Marks gets the nod to face your opponent in fantasy football. Marks is in line to earn an additional five points more than Nick Chubb, making him the clear option. However, don’t expect a dominant breakout performance from Marks. The Houston Texans are likely to trail for most of the day, which will set a ceiling on what Marks will be able to do in the second half. Even the most lopsided scores often take a half for enough possessions to take place to take the running backs out of it, but Marks is likely to be used plenty until that point.

The Miz put up with a lot of “nonsense” in WWE during his early years, claims wrestling veteran (Exclusive)

Former wrestler and WWE trainer Bill DeMott recently shared his insights on The Miz’s rising popularity. Currently a prominent member of the SmackDown roster, The Miz had formed a powerful alliance with Carmelo Hayes over the past few months. The veteran wrestler helped Hayes sharpen his in-ring skills, creating a formidable tag team. However, tensions arose between the two stars, both known for their huge egos, leading to a dramatic fallout.

Two weeks ago, when Carmelo Hayes attempted to answer Sami Zayn’s United States Open Challenge, The Miz unexpectedly attacked him, preventing Carmelo from competing in the match.

During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Senior Editor Bill Apter, Bill DeMott reflected on witnessing The Miz carve out a name for himself in the wrestling business. He recalled how The Miz was initially dismissed as just an outsider and reality TV star but persevered to elevate his craft to become a two-time Grand Slam Champion and a respected backstage figure within WWE.

“I’ll say this. I’ve never claimed to train anyone, but I’ve always been thankful to have a hand in what they’ve done. The guy who’s at the top of my list is The Miz. He fought the good fight. He knew what he wanted to do. He put up with a lot of the nonsense, if you will, and he stayed with it. People thought he was a nothing, reality star. To me, he’s the hands-on top dog in the company right now. He’s the media guru, he’s the in-person guy, he’s with the kids, he’s in the movies, he’s on TV.”

Last week on SmackDown, The Miz answered Sami Zayn’s United States Championship Open Challenge. In a surprising turn, Carmelo Hayes attacked his former tag team partner, allowing Ilja Dragunov to step in and win the match, becoming the new US Champion.
