During the **Anamnesis** quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you will learn from Brother Celestine that his good friend, Brother Jaroslav, has been sneaking off to the monastery basement. This behavior is suspicious, as Jaroslav clearly does not want anyone to know what he is up to. Since Celestine doesn’t know exactly where Jaroslav has been going, it’s up to you to investigate and find out.
### Where to Search the Monastery Cellar
The monastery cellar extends nearly the entire length of the large building and has multiple entrances. No matter which entrance you use, your objective is to reach a specific point shown on the in-game map.
You might need to pick a couple of locks depending on your chosen route, but the easiest way is to enter through the kitchen stairs. From there, turn through the door opposite the room where the monks are secretly gambling. This path takes you straight into the cellar.
As you proceed, you will come across an area with spilled wine. Be sure to examine this carefully. Beyond some wooden beams, you’ll notice some footsteps on the ground. Follow these to discover a strange locked door.
Finding this door completes this part of the Anamnesis quest and reveals what Brother Jaroslav has been hiding.
