The Kansas City Chiefs headed into the locker room trailing the Buffalo Bills by eight points at halftime. During this period, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce left the field with a potential injury. Multiple Kansas City medical personnel accompanied Kelce to the locker room to assess his condition.
Meanwhile, some Buffalo fans targeted Kelce, who responded energetically. According to eyewitness Bové, “Bills fans were letting him have it and he was egging them on and yelling, ‘I love it! I love it!’”
Additionally, Bové noted that Buffalo player Bishop also exited the field just before halftime, suggesting that the collision between the two players was impactful for both sides.
Before leaving the game, Kelce had recorded just one catch for 20 yards. As of now, the team has not released an official statement regarding the nature or severity of Kelce’s injury.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
