Quordle 10/27/25 Answer (October 27 2025)

Quordle: A Unique Twist on Wordle

Quordle offers a fresh and challenging take on the wildly popular word game Wordle. Unlike Wordle, which gives you one word to guess per day, Quordle ups the ante by requiring you to solve four five-letter words simultaneously. You have nine guesses to figure them all out!

While there is a daily Quordle puzzle, you’re not limited to just one game a day. You can play as many new puzzles as you like, which makes it a fantastic way to practice and improve your word-guessing skills.

How to Play Quordle

The premise is simple: guess four different five-letter words within nine guesses. Each guess applies to all four words, and the game provides feedback by coloring the letters to indicate whether they are correct and in the right place, correct but in the wrong position, or not in any of the words.

Tips to Improve Your Quordle Game

Mastering Quordle can be tough, but these tips will make your gameplay smoother and help you get closer to the correct solutions:

1. **Use Good Starting Words**
Begin your puzzle with words that contain a variety of vowels and non-repeating letters. This will maximize the information you get from your first guesses. Popular starting words include:
– adieu
– audio
– atone
– raise
– stone

2. **Watch Out for Duplicate Letters**
Don’t forget that some words might contain repeating letters. For example, the word “snoop” has two ‘o’s. Quordle’s clues might not always make this obvious. Just because a letter is green (correct position) in one spot doesn’t mean it can’t appear elsewhere too.

3. **Search for Five-Letter Words Based on Clues**
When you’re stuck, try looking up five-letter words that start or end with certain letters you’ve identified. This strategy can help you brainstorm new guesses and improve your success rate in future puzzles.

Conclusion

Quordle is a challenging and addictive word game perfect for players who crave something more complex than Wordle. With multiple words to solve at once and unlimited daily puzzles, it offers endless fun and learning opportunities. Use the tips above to sharpen your skills and enjoy every Quordle challenge!

Happy puzzling!

New York Giants Star Cam Skattebo Suffers Horrific Ankle Injury, on Video

Cam Skattebo, the New York Giants’ breakout rookie running back who has electrified their offense, was carted off the field after a big hit that seemingly left his ankle twisted the wrong way.

The 23-year-old fourth-round pick out of Arizona State University took the field against the Philadelphia Eagles. While running over the middle on a passing route, a ball came his way — but an Eagles defender dragged him down from behind.

In the clip, the Philadelphia player puts all his weight down on Skattebo, causing his legs to get caught underneath him as he hit the turf awkwardly. Almost immediately, Skattebo’s teammates waved over the medical staff, and it’s easy to see why. At the end of the video, Skattebo’s ankle appears to be severely twisted.

Players from both the Giants and Eagles came together at midfield to show support for the injured rookie. While there is no official word yet on the extent of the injury, it looks to be season-ending.

Skattebo and fellow Giants rookie Jaxson Dart have injected new life into the New York Giants this season, turning them into the talk of the NFL. However, with Skattebo’s injury, it seems Dart may be on his own for the foreseeable future.

Eagles’ Saquon Barkley limps off to blue tent with apparent injury vs. Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles currently hold a commanding 38-13 lead over the New York Giants late in the fourth quarter. However, the game took a concerning turn as Eagles running back Saquon Barkley appeared to suffer an injury scare during the contest.

According to Tim McManus of ESPN, the 28-year-old running back limped off the field and headed to the blue medical tent following one of his long runs against the Giants. McManus reported, “Saquon Barkley to the medical tent. He started limping after that long run down the right side.”

Fortunately, Barkley was able to return from the medical tent in time to witness teammate Tank Bigsby’s impressive 29-yard run. He was seen jumping up and down in celebration and was standing with the substitutes, helmet in hand.

Despite Barkley’s visible enthusiasm, the Eagles have ruled him questionable to return due to a groin injury, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Given the substantial lead late in the game, it seems unlikely that Barkley will take the field again in this contest.

As Pelissero reported, “Eagles RB Saquon Barkley is questionable to return with a groin injury.” Fans will be hoping for a swift recovery for the talented running back as the season progresses.

Co-op horror games are taking over, so here are the best ones to celebrate 2025’s spookiest day

Co-op Horror Games Are Taking Over: The Best Ones to Celebrate 2025’s Spookiest Day

Halloween is almost here, and so are countless co-op horror games that have collectively earned a specific moniker revolving around the word “friend.”

And be the sentiment around them as it may, I still find them incredibly fun to play, especially when it comes to gathering the squad for some late-night gaming. Of course, you could just all fire up CS2, but instead of losing your mind playing to get an imaginary number 400 points higher, you have the option to get scared s**tless—and I think that’s quite better.

So, I’ve gathered four recent co-op horror games and one classic that can and will make your 2025 Halloween night much more exciting.

Misery

Misery sure does love company.
Image via Platypus Entertainment

Having released just a few days prior to this article, Misery places you in the midst of a mysterious Zone, itself located in a fictional Eastern European Republic of Zaslavie. It’s very much Soviet Ukraine and Russia, with its fictional town almost an exact counterpart to our own Chornobyl.

Inspired by hits like STALKER, it allows you and your friends to explore the Zone, gather loot, craft materials, and survive the irradiated, anomalous wasteland. Your characters can go insane, be poisoned by abject radiation, warped by mysterious nuclear apparitions, or beaten to a pulp by a bunch of gopniks in Adidas tracksuits cursing at you in Russian.

It’s a unique and very different style of co-op horror, one that does not shy away from its inspirations.

Vein

Wrecked zombies? How fun!
Image via Ramjet Studios

Described by some as a “first-person Project Zomboid,” Vein is a post-apocalyptic zombie survival multiplayer horror game that places you and your group of friends into a walker-infested hellscape. You are, naturally, tasked with surviving these circumstances and are given free rein over how you want to do it.

It’s a sandbox experience through and through, emphasizing player agency, which, in turn, promotes creativity and “on-the-go” thinking that’ll lead every group of survivors into different outcomes. Want to build a five-star hotel out of the scrap you find? Go right ahead. Or, if it’s more your prerogative, you can mow down any zombie you come across until you get bored. Whatever you want to do, you’re free to.

Cryo

The environments are ultra spooky.
Image via Valko Game Studios

With Lethal Company almost singlehandedly spawning this entire co-op horror subgenre that loves its proximity voice chat, it’s no wonder that a game very close to the origin is on this list. Cryo puts you in the shoes of a mysterious company worker, sent to Antarctica to figure out why the continent has gone dark and cut its communications.

You and your friends really will be on the edges of your seats with this one, having to figure out things quickly but quietly, lest you disturb whatever dark horror awaits you in the pitch blackness of our world’s most remote piece of land.

Escape the Backrooms

Liminal spaces never get old.
Screenshot via Fancy Games

The crown jewel of the Backrooms meme, Escape the Backrooms has recently received its 1.0 update, releasing in full on Steam. With this huge milestone, the game has been expanded with several new levels and lots of additional content, making the trudge through the liminal spaces much more fulfilling and, of course, fun.

Various creatures of the Lovecraftian kind await behind every hallway, with puzzles and riddles along the way that’ll make escaping quite the ordeal. Make sure to keep track of who and where your friends are, because some of these monsters have a tendency to copy, mimic, and imitate, tricking you into falling prey to them.

GTFO

GTFO is among the best co-op shooters out there.
Image via 10 Chambers

And while these relatively new Company-likes are all fun and games, sticking to some classic hits doesn’t hurt a bit. GTFO is one of the best mission-based horror games ever made, combining incredible weapon realism and feedback with that recognizable Left 4 Dead-style gameplay loop where a group of players survives an onslaught of enemies.

It’s usually cheap on Steam this time of year, and brings with it loads of content to play through, which shouldn’t only last you through the spooky season, but also serve as a gateway to fun at any time of year. Its dedicated community means you’ll be able to find a group of eager players almost always, even when your own group is offline.

Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama telling NBA it’s over with truly alien sequence

On Sunday, the San Antonio Spurs took the floor for their first home game of the 2025-26 NBA season, facing off against the rebuilding Brooklyn Nets. This matchup came after the Spurs had started the year strong with two consecutive road wins.

San Antonio got off to a powerful start, carrying a 69-48 lead into halftime, thanks in large part to an 18-point first half from superstar Victor Wembanyama. Wembanyama has already delivered several highlight reel-worthy plays this season as he aims for an MVP-level campaign, and that trend continued with an incredible sequence against the Nets on Sunday.

In one memorable possession, Wembanyama blocked not one, but two shots from helpless Nets players. After his team secured the rebound, he dribbled down the floor and casually drained a three-pointer from Stephen Curry range. This electrifying play sent the crowd into a frenzy and helped San Antonio maintain their commanding lead going into the locker room.

This sequence was a perfect showcase of the diverse skill set that Wembanyama brings to the floor — skills that have cemented his status as perhaps the best young prospect in NBA history.

### A Hot Start for the Spurs

Heading into the season, there was little doubt that Wembanyama would continue his ascent into becoming one of the NBA’s elite players. However, the bigger question centered around how the Spurs would perform as a team, especially given the crowded guard rotation.

So far this year, De’Aaron Fox has yet to appear for the Spurs due to injury. This absence has opened the door for last year’s Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle and the 2025 number two overall draft pick Dylan Harper to take on larger roles. Both players have seized the opportunity and performed well in their expanded minutes, although the sample size remains small and they have yet to face many elite defensive backcourts.

Still, if Harper and Castle continue to develop, there’s a strong chance the Spurs could emerge as one of the top teams in the Western Conference this season. With Wembanyama looking like the best player in the NBA during this early stretch, the Spurs have a promising foundation to build on moving forward.

Cowboys will have LT Tyler Guyton, but S Juanyeh Thomas is inactive

The Cowboys will have left tackle Tyler Guyton available, despite being questionable earlier in the week due to a glute injury that limited him on Thursday and Friday. He is not listed among the team’s inactives for the game.

Edge rusher Marshawn Kneeland is also active after being questionable with an ankle injury.

The Cowboys’ inactives include linebacker Jack Sanborn (groin), safety Juanyeh Thomas (migraines), safety Donovan Wilson (elbow/shoulder), offensive tackle Ajani Cornelius (knees), wide receiver Jonathan Mingo, and defensive tackle Jay Toia.

On the Broncos’ side, only two players appeared on the injury report this week, and none carried an injury designation. All of their inactives are healthy scratches.

The Broncos’ inactives for the game are quarterback Sam Ehlinger, running back Jaleel McLaughlin, safety J.T. Gray, outside linebacker Que Robinson, and defensive linemen Sai’vion Jones.

C.J. Stroud has 300 yards, two TDs as Texans lead 49ers 23-7

The Texans struggled offensively on Monday night against the Seahawks, unable to generate significant momentum. In contrast, they have dominated the 49ers, who are currently without key defensive players Nick Bosa and Fred Warner.

Houston’s offense has been impressive today, with four drives consisting of double-digit plays, totaling 57 plays for 393 yards. Their latest drive was particularly effective, covering 94 yards in 12 plays. Quarterback C.J. Stroud connected with Xavier Hutchinson for a 30-yard touchdown during this drive, putting Houston ahead 23-7.

Despite the lead, the game shouldn’t be this close. The Texans have been just 1-for-4 in the red zone today, missing opportunities to extend their advantage. Stroud has completed 27 of 35 passes for 317 yards, throwing two touchdowns and one interception, all while missing key wide receivers Nico Collins and Christian McCaffrey.

Xavier Hutchinson has been a standout, with five receptions for 69 yards. Meanwhile, the 49ers’ offense has struggled, amassing only 89 yards so far.

Jets insider slams ‘petrified’ coaching of Justin Fields

The New York Jets look like the worst team in the NFL. Currently, New York is the only winless team in the league at 0-7 heading into Week 8. Their struggles continued as they got off to a poor start against a beatable Cincinnati Bengals team on Sunday.

At the center of the controversy is, once again, Justin Fields. ESPN’s Rich Cimini didn’t hold back in criticizing both the team’s coaching staff and Fields himself after the slow start against the Bengals. “Three possessions: 19 total yards. The coaches are petrified to have Fields drop back,” Cimini wrote. “He has 2 pass attempts, both behind the line of scrimmage. Can’t run an offense this way.”

New York’s passing game has been heavily scrutinized all season, but the criticism intensified after Fields’ subpar performance against Denver in Week 6. The Jets have struggled to unlock their deep passing game with Fields under center. Instead, the team, led by defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, has spent most of its time focusing on running the football and attempting short passes.

The raw stats paint a grim picture of the Jets’ offensive woes. Coming into Sunday’s matchup, New York ranks last in the NFL in passing yards per game, averaging just 143.4 yards. They have also allowed the most sacks in the league, with 31 given up so far.

While Fields has shown efficiency when running the ball—averaging 6.1 yards per carry—the Jets have not schematically taken advantage of this strength. This hesitancy is proving costly to their overall offensive performance.

Early in the second quarter of Sunday’s game, Fields was 4-of-4 for 23 passing yards but had yet to complete a pass to a wide receiver or tight end. With the Jets trailing 17-3, they appear headed for their eighth consecutive loss.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 Review – Third Time’s a Charm

**Jurassic World Evolution 3 Review**

Dear Frontier, if you’re reading this, please somehow make all your fantastic sims cross-compatible. Sure, maybe the wallabies from *Planet Zoo* might not want to procreate next to an enclosure of velociraptors while a triple inverted coaster screams overhead. Still, you say “build it your way,” right? Wishful thinking aside, thanks for *Jurassic World Evolution 3*. It’s the best of the series. It’s also just a wink and a nudge away from *Planet Zoo*, so let’s talk about that crossover.

### Incremental, but Large Increments

In *Jurassic World Evolution 3*, your tasks remain essentially the same as in prior games. The overarching challenge is finding a balance between commerce and conservation, exploitation and, well, evolution. Turning a profit while advancing science, dinosaur genetics, and efficient keeping.

The tasks are not unlike those in *Planet Zoo*, but the captives are a bit more extreme. *Jurassic World Evolution 3* doesn’t throw the baby tyrannosaur out with the bathwater, because it doesn’t need to. The fundamentals remain solid.

There’s a campaign, a sandbox, and some one-off challenges — more than enough to keep fans satisfied for a good long while. However, for *Jurassic World Evolution 3*, Frontier has added a bit more depth around breeding, genetics, and the dinosaur growth cycle.

The game introduces juvenile animals. In addition to being adorable and audience-pleasing, they also have a separate range of behaviors with each other and their parents. They exhibit the blended genetic tendencies and appearance you might expect.

Juveniles have unique needs separate from adults. It means more stuff to balance, but that’s what players enjoy. Breeding now takes into consideration sexual dimorphism, fertility, compatibility, territory size, and nest placement. Part of the game’s campaign deals with bioengineering enough males to populate breeding programs.

### Dr. Malcolm Returns

The singular Jeff Goldblum — aka The Fly, aka The Wizard of Oz, aka Dr. Ian Malcolm — returns to quip and intone his usual scientific warnings, but the cast is uniformly pretty good.

Overall, the game’s campaign is the best of the three games, taking the player from Hawaii to Japan to the Nevada desert. As always, the campaign is part narrative, part tutorial, and moves along at a welcome, streamlined clip.

The game’s challenge mode presents players with a range of one-off scenarios to test their ability in a variety of situations. If nothing else, the scenarios are a great practice tool for deep diving into the game’s systems.

### Play in the Sandbox

For me, and I suspect many other players, the campaign is like the vegetables, and the sandbox is the dessert. That doesn’t mean the veggies aren’t nutritious and can’t be delicious, but the freedom of building in the sandbox is endlessly fun.

As always, players can shape the sandbox experience in extremely granular ways. For some players, paying attention to every detail of infrastructure, staffing, maintenance, and research is pure joy; for others, worrying about building a sustainable power grid is annoying.

For *Jurassic World Evolution 3*, Frontier introduces modular building tools and the ability to easily customize buildings and other design elements in far more detail. Easy is relative, of course. Building an aesthetically pleasing and entertaining park experience is always a challenge.

This version includes a few new attractions, maybe the coolest of which is a kayak ride. Guests can paddle down rivers while dinos graze on the banks. The new zipline ride lets people swoop over herds of dinosaurs. Will a pen of hungry allosaurs nip at the heels of zipliners? Let’s find out.

### Fly in the Amber

I played *Jurassic World Evolution 3* on the PS5, which means using the controller for building. Thanks largely to Frontier porting its games to consoles, the practicality of playing a building sim with a controller has steadily improved.

It will probably never be as easy or intuitive as a mouse and keyboard, but the experience is relatively painless in *Jurassic World Evolution 3*.

Let me copy/paste my standard Frontier sim game complaint: lack of compatibility with prior games. Especially when a game’s tech is more iterative than dramatically different, having to repurchase content always smacks of greed. It was true in *Planet Coaster*, and it’s true in *Evolution 3*.

However, one really bright spot is that blueprints and player-made content in the Frontier Workshop is cross-platform compatible.

Generally, *Jurassic World Evolution 3* looks great, especially its lighting and scenery. At least on the PS5, some of the dinosaur skin textures have an unrealistic plastic/rubber sheen to them. However, dinosaur animations continue to evolve and feel ever more lifelike.

Players looking forward to playing on PS5 should note that there have been some issues with limits on park complexity. Frontier is working on this problem.

Thanks to its modular building systems, new juvenile dinosaurs, and engaging campaign, *Jurassic World Evolution 3* is the best of the series. It feels like a more flexible and more refined version of a familiar game.

If it had compatibility with prior content, it would be a 10/10, but *Jurassic World Evolution 3* is a great foundation for expansion.
