As Gio and Emma head out of Bobbie’s, they find Ned grasping for air on the floor due to a heart attack. Britt comes out of the restaurant and quickly performs CPR, while Emma dials 911. They rush Ned to the hospital.
At the hospital, Lucas and Liz are having a conversation about Lucas’s decision to move in with Marco at Wyndemere.
**Dante’s New Role as Acting Commissioner**
Laura asks Dante to fill in as the acting commissioner. With everything that’s going on, Laura wants all hands on deck, so Dante hires Nathan. He wants Nathan to partner with Chase, who has recently been getting too involved with Willow’s case.
Having Nathan as his partner allows Dante to keep a close eye on everything Chase does.
**Brook Lynn’s Concerns About Chase**
Chase admits to Brook that he’s been secretly trying to help solve Willow’s case. While she admires his determination, she worries that Chase taking on the case could affect his job. Nonetheless, Brook Lynn confesses that she loves him even more for his dedication.
**Willow’s Out of Jail?**
Michael and Jacinda go on a dinner date. While they discuss their interest in camping, Nina walks in with Wiley, stopping by for a sundae. This leads to a heated exchange between Michael and Nina.
During their conversation about Jacinda’s past and Willow’s current situation, Michael convinces Nina to take a picture of them together.
Later, Willow—who is now out of jail—walks into the restaurant and sees Michael, Jacinda, and Nina enjoying their time. Willow also expresses concern over her son’s interest in Britt, calling it highly worrisome.
The two agree that Britt is not to be trusted and that Rocco will soon find this out firsthand. Soon after, Gio calls with an update on Ned’s condition.
They all rush to the hospital, where Lucas informs them that Ned requires bypass surgery.
**Heist in Motion**
Britt tasks Danny, Charlotte, and Rocco with retrieving her belongings from Bobbie’s. The kids realize that this could be their chance to help Emma by getting a key fob and even breaking into Dalton’s lab.
