Tim Allen says Erika Kirk’s memorial speech inspired him to forgive his father’s killer

**Tim Allen Moved by Erika Kirk’s Forgiveness in Memorial Speech**

Tim Allen has opened up about how Erika Kirk’s memorial speech “deeply affected” him. On Thursday, Allen took to X to share that he was personally moved by Kirk’s act of forgiving the man who allegedly killed her husband, Charlie Kirk—a forgiveness that has not come as easily for Allen himself.

“When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: That man. That young man. I forgive him. That moment deeply affected me,” Allen wrote.

Allen revealed that he has struggled with forgiveness for decades. “I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: I forgive the man who killed my father. Peace be with you all,” he added.

Allen’s father died in 1978 after being hit by a drunk driver. Allen was just 11 years old at the time.

### Erika Kirk’s Message of Forgiveness

At Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on Sunday, Erika publicly forgave Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of killing the Turning Point USA founder.

“Charlie wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life,” Erika said. Quoting scripture, she continued, “Our Savior said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.’ That young man… I forgive him.”

Erika further explained, “I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it’s what Charlie would do.”

### The Incident

Charlie Kirk was tragically assassinated at a Turning Point USA event held at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10. Tyler Robinson was arrested and now faces several charges, including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child.

Tim Allen’s heartfelt response highlights the powerful impact of Erika Kirk’s message of forgiveness — a reminder of grace amid tragedy.

Delhi BJP MLA Ravinder Singh Negi Asks Meat Shops To Close On Tuesday During Navratri

New Delhi: BJP MLA from Patparganj assembly constituency, Ravinder Singh Negi, on Tuesday urged meat shops located near temples to remain closed on Tuesdays and during the Navratri festival.

Negi expressed his concerns after noticing a meat shop open right in front of a temple on a Tuesday. Speaking to ANI, he said, “A few days ago, when I went to the temple on Tuesday, I saw that a meat shop was open right in front of the temple. I felt very bad seeing this, so I requested the traders to close the shops outside the temples on Tuesday. They readily accepted, and now shops have started closing on Tuesday in Patparganj.”

He further added, “We would like the meat shops in front of temples to remain closed during the holy fast of Navratri. I will also write a letter to the District Magistrate about this. I will try my best to keep meat shops closed on Tuesdays in my assembly.”

In addition to appealing to the shopkeepers, Negi also plans to formally write to the District Magistrate to ensure that this practice of closing meat shops near temples continues.

Similar initiatives have been observed in other states as well. Last year, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that efforts are underway to preserve the sanctity and blessings of the Narmada River by banning liquor and meat shops in religious towns across the state.

Speaking to ANI, CM Chouhan said, “By bringing together all state government departments, we have made an effort to maintain the sanctity and blessings of Maa Narmada. We will aim to ban meat and liquor shops in religious towns. I hope the decisions taken will be reviewed in November. This is not a one-day process; it is an ongoing one.”

Such moves reflect a broader attempt by political leaders to respect religious sentiments and promote cultural harmony in their regions.

‘False Hindu God’: Republican Leader Alexander Duncan Faces Criticism For Controversial Post On Lord Hanuman Statue In Texas

**Texas Republican Leader Sparks Controversy Over Lord Hanuman Statue**

A Texas Republican leader has ignited a controversy with his remarks about a Hindu deity. Alexander Duncan, a Republican Party Senate candidate, called Lord Hanuman a “false god” in a statement concerning a statue of the deity located in Sugar Land, Texas.

Duncan’s comments, made in an X post, read: “Why are we allowing a false statue of a false Hindu God to be here in Texas? We are a CHRISTIAN nation!” These words drew strong criticism from Hindus living in the United States and prompted widespread backlash.

The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) condemned Duncan’s remarks as “anti-Hindu and inflammatory.” In response, the HAF urged the Republican Party to take disciplinary action against Duncan. They questioned the party’s commitment to its own anti-discrimination guidelines, stating on X:

*”Hello, TexasGOP, will you be disciplining your senate candidate from your party who openly contravenes your own guidelines against discrimination—displaying some pretty sordid anti-Hindu hate — not to mention disrespect for the 1st Amendment’s Establishment Clause.”*

### Public Reaction on Social Media

Many netizens voiced their opposition to Duncan’s statement, emphasizing the importance of religious freedom in the United States. One user wrote, “We are a nation full of people who hold different religious beliefs. It’s called freedom of religion. If the followers of a religion are not harming or oppressing others then their religion is protected under our U.S. constitution.”

Another user commented, “What do you mean by ‘false Hindu god’? All gods are equally false. I understand you dislike having foreign symbols build up like that, but do not portray others’ gods as being more false than yours—that is preposterous.”

A third user highlighted the ancient origins and significance of Hindu texts: “Just because you’re not Hindu, doesn’t make it false. The Vedas were written almost 2000 years before Jesus walked the earth and are extraordinary texts. And there’s obvious influences on Christianity…so it would be wise to honor and research the ‘religion’ that predates and influences yours.”

### Duncan’s Response to Critics

In his defense, Duncan cited Bible verses, responding directly to his critics on X. He wrote:

*”I’m just calling it what it is, an IDOL. ‘You must not have any other god but me. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea.’ Exodus 20:3-4″*

*”They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.” Romans 1:25*

In a separate post, Duncan urged Americans to “preserve” Western culture.

### About the Statue of Lord Hanuman in Texas

The statue in question, known as the **Statue of Union**, was unveiled in 2024. It is a 90-foot-tall statue of Lord Hanuman, located at the Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple in Sugar Land, Texas. The statue stands as a significant cultural and religious symbol for the Hindu community in the region.

The controversy highlights ongoing tensions surrounding religious symbols in public spaces and the broader dialogue about religious tolerance and freedom in the United States.

₹100cr stolen from Tirupati temple during Jagan Reddy’s rule: BJP

**100 Crore Stolen from Tirupati Temple During Jagan Reddy’s Rule: BJP Alleges**

*By Snehil Singh | Sep 21, 2025, 03:37 PM*

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has alleged that over ₹100 crore was stolen from the Tirupati temple’s donation box during the tenure of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime.

Bhanu Prakash Reddy, a member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the Tirupati temple, accused temple staffer Ravikumar of stealing cash. Reddy supported his claims by releasing CCTV footage allegedly showing the theft.

### Allegations of Misuse and Diversion

According to Bhanu Prakash Reddy, the stolen money was used for real estate investments and was diverted to Jagan Reddy’s residence, the Tadepalli Palace. He described this as the “biggest such loot” in the history of TTD during the YSRCP regime spanning from 2019 to 2024.

The CCTV footage related to the alleged theft was also shared by Nara Lokesh, a leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), on his X (formerly Twitter) handle.

### Legal Action and Investigation

Reddy claimed that devotees were effectively looted under the YSRCP regime when they offered donations to the temple. He highlighted that the High Court has transferred the case to the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and ordered a probe with a sealed cover report to be submitted within one month.

Additionally, the court has directed that the board’s decisions, along with related documents, be seized as part of the investigation.

### Alleged Attempts to Settle the Case

The BJP leader further alleged that several YSRCP leaders and top officials attempted to settle the case through Lok Adalat, but the issue could not be concealed. Reddy also accused a key police officer of colluding with others to loot the temple’s wealth, with officials and leaders allegedly sharing the stolen funds.

At the time, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy was the TTD chairman. Bhanu Prakash Reddy has demanded a response from him regarding these serious allegations.

### Claims of Evidence Tampering

Reddy claimed that after the scam, crucial evidence was destroyed. He alleged that a portion of the looted money had been diverted to the Tadepalli Palace, and hinted that an officer might soon come forward in remorse to reveal the full details of what is being called a ₹100-crore scandal.

### Political Impact

These allegations have stirred a significant political controversy in Andhra Pradesh, triggering demands for a thorough investigation into the matter.

As the probe unfolds, the public awaits further updates on this developing story concerning the alleged theft and mismanagement of temple funds during the YSRCP administration.

₹100cr stolen from Tirupati temple during Jagan Reddy’s rule: BJP

**100 Crore Stolen from Tirupati Temple During Jagan Reddy’s Rule: BJP Alleges**

*By Snehil Singh | Sep 21, 2025, 03:37 PM*

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has made serious allegations claiming that over ₹100 crore was stolen from the donation box of the Tirupati temple during the tenure of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime.

**Allegations of Theft and Diversion of Funds**

Bhanu Prakash Reddy, a member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) — the body responsible for managing the Tirupati temple — accused a temple staffer named Ravikumar of stealing the cash donations. To support his allegations, Reddy released CCTV footage purportedly showing the theft.

Furthermore, he alleged that the stolen money was not only misappropriated but also diverted into real estate investments and transferred to Jagan Reddy’s residence, known as the Tadepalli Palace. Describing the incident as the “biggest such loot” in TTD’s history, Reddy claimed that this fraudulent activity took place during the YSRCP government’s rule from 2019 to 2024.

The footage linked to the alleged theft was also shared by Nara Lokesh, leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), via his social media handle on X (formerly Twitter).

**Legal Proceedings and Investigation**

According to Reddy, the donations given by devotees were effectively looted under the YSRCP regime. He highlighted that the High Court has taken cognizance of the matter by transferring the case to the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and ordered an inquiry with a sealed cover report to be submitted within a month.

Additionally, the court directed authorities to seize decisions taken by the TTD board and all related documents, reflecting the seriousness of ongoing investigations.

**Alleged Attempts to Settle the Case**

Reddy also alleged that several YSRCP leaders and senior officials attempted to settle the matter through Lok Adalat proceedings to suppress the issue. However, these attempts reportedly failed to cover up the scandal.

He further accused a key police officer of complicity, claiming that the officer worked with the intent to loot the temple’s wealth. According to Reddy, both officials and political leaders shared the misappropriated funds.

During this period, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy was the TTD chairman. The BJP leader has called upon him to respond to these serious allegations.

**Destruction of Evidence and Possibility of Exposure**

The BJP leader asserted that critical evidence regarding the scam was destroyed after the theft, thereby attempting to cover up the crime. He expressed hope that an officer involved might soon come forward with remorse and reveal complete details of the ₹100 crore scam.

**Political Fallout**

These allegations have ignited a political storm in Andhra Pradesh, with opposition parties and public voices demanding a comprehensive investigation into the matter to ensure justice and transparency.

As the situation unfolds, further updates are awaited on the progress of the investigation and any official responses from the YSR Congress Party or the TTD administration.

Mumbai News: Devotees Recreate Historic Mot Mauli Pilgrimage From Mahim To Mount Mary Basilica

Mother Mary devotees participated in the annual Mot Mauli Purcessao pilgrimage on Saturday morning, journeying from St. Michael’s Church in Mahim to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Bandra. This pilgrimage marks a significant event during the eight-day Bandra Fair, centered around the basilica—affectionately known as Mount Mary—which will conclude on Sunday.

The one-and-a-half-hour procession reenacted the original pilgrimage to the Bandra shrine dating back to 1761, when a rekla, or horse-drawn cart, carried the Statue of Our Lady of the Mount. The final leg of the procession began at St. Peter’s Church on Hill Road, continuing to Mount Mary for the religious service held at 9:30 a.m.

“The procession is recreated to promote native devotion to the patroness of the East Indian community, Mount Mary,” said Gleason Barretto, founder trustee of the Mobai Gaothan Panchayat, the organization behind the event.

Highlights of the event included a traditional East Indian brass band, the luzar (rosary), religious hymns, and participants dressed in East Indian-themed costumes. The Bombay Velankanni Pilgrims Band also performed during the procession, with members of the St. Peter’s Confraternity actively taking part in the celebrations.

The deceased has been identified as Maitar Ramrao Bhairavi, a resident of Veravanapatti, Ambugam. He had traveled to Brahmagiri to seek darshan at the source of the Godavari River. After visiting the Jata temple, he mistakenly took the difficult route towards Durgbhandar Fort.

Acting swiftly, Police Inspector Mahesh Kulkarni dispatched a team comprising Constables Sachin Jadhav, Amol Borade, and Nandkumar Musale. Additionally, a rescue team was summoned from Nashik.

Officials from the Forest Department, police, rescue personnel, and local residents climbed Brahmagiri via Gangadwar and proceeded towards Durgbhandar. Unfortunately, before reaching him, the devotee slipped and fell into the Gorakshnath cave around midnight.

He was later found approximately six feet from the edge of the cave. Despite efforts by the rescue teams to pull him out, Maitar Ramrao Bhairavi was declared dead at the scene.
