Recently, D-Von Dudley became the epicenter of controversy in professional wrestling after revealing his meeting with AEW President Tony Khan and another 40-year-old star. The controversy quickly grew, and Dudley later disclosed that this star called him to resolve the issue following Dudley’s statements.
However, D-Von went on to expose the 40-year-old QT Marshall with some serious comments during a recent interview. Previously, the former WWE star had stated that both Marshall and Tony Khan treated him disrespectfully during their meeting in Orlando. According to Dudley, they kept him waiting for hours in the lobby, which he found unacceptable.
Speaking on the Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, Dudley revealed that QT Marshall called him later in an attempt to settle the conflict. Marshall apparently believed there was a misunderstanding and that the situation was not as Dudley had perceived it. He also asked Dudley to meet face-to-face in the coming weeks.
Despite this, the WWE Hall of Famer expressed that he did not appreciate Marshall’s approach. Dudley made it clear that he has no issues with All Elite Wrestling but is unwilling to tolerate dishonesty at this point.
He stated:
“QT had called. He didn’t sell it to me and um yeah, he said he didn’t understand why I felt the way I felt and that somebody was giving me wrong information. And he was like, you know, I would love to talk to you face to face, you know, and iron this out, he said. And I said, well, don’t worry. The next time I talk to you, we’ll be face to face. Not trying to insinuate violence or anything, but there’s no reason to go back and forth in text message or even on the phone talking about this. I’d rather see you lie to your face and to see if you’re telling the truth by just looking at you. I’m not being bitter. I’m not being angry. Just don’t lie.”
