With *Stranger Things* embarking on its final season, Millie Bobby Brown is leaving behind-the-scenes rumors in the Upside Down. Reuniting with co-star David Harbour at Thursday’s Season 5 premiere, the two-time Emmy nominee expressed how “so lucky” she feels to have had her onscreen dad in her life for nearly a decade since the Netflix show premiered.
“It’s been amazing. We’re so lucky to have each other,” Brown told *Extra*. “The show means so much to the both of us, and to everyone here. This has been the last 10 years of our lives.”
Despite reports to the contrary, Brown and Harbour appeared to share a great relationship as they embraced and laughed together on the red carpet at TCL Chinese Theatre, ahead of the *Stranger Things* Part One premiere on November 26 on Netflix.
Netflix shared a nostalgic video on Instagram featuring the pair celebrating “one last Stranger Things premiere” since the show first premiered in 2016, created by the Duffer Brothers.
Brown stars in *Stranger Things* as Eleven, a psychic-powered girl who escapes Hawkins National Laboratory in Season 1 after being subjected to experiments connected to the Upside Down. Following her escape, Harbour’s character, Jim Hopper, adopts her, forming a deep father-daughter bond that has resonated with fans throughout the series.
Season 5 picks up in the fall of 1987. Hawkins remains scarred by the opening of the Rifts, with the characters united by a single mission: find and kill Vecna. However, Vecna has vanished, his whereabouts and plans unknown.
Adding complexity to their mission, the government has placed Hawkins under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will Byers’s disappearance approaches, a heavy, familiar dread looms over the town. The final battle is coming—a darkness more powerful and deadly than anything the group has faced before.
To end this nightmare, the full party will need to stand together one last time.
The highly anticipated fifth and final season of *Stranger Things* will release on Netflix across three premiere dates:
– **Volume 1:** November 26 (four episodes)
– **Volume 2:** Christmas Day (three episodes)
– **The Finale:** New Year’s Eve
Each volume will be available at 5 PM PT.
Fans can look forward to an epic conclusion as *Stranger Things* closes the chapter on one of Netflix’s most beloved series.
