MANILA, Philippines – Collins Akowe was glad to put on a strong impression for the University of Santo Tomas in his debut performance, which came at the expense of last year’s UAAP champion, the University of the Philippines.

The Nigerian center dominated on the Growling Tigers’ home floor, delivering an outstanding performance with 29 points and 17 rebounds, leading UST to a victory over the Fighting Maroons.
