Capitol Police say they arrested man who threatened to kill lawmaker

Capitol Police arrested a man on Tuesday who was wanted for threatening to kill a lawmaker, the department announced.

Richard Griffin, a resident of Pennsylvania, was prevented from entering the Russell Senate Office Building after a member of the Capitol Police Rapid Response Team recognized him from a bulletin issued on October 28, according to a Capitol Police release.
