PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) — Christian Peters delivered an impressive performance as Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeated Southern 40-21 on Saturday, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Peters showcased his dual-threat abilities by running for a 20-yard touchdown and throwing a 31-yard scoring pass to Ellis Stewart, helping the team build a 24-7 lead by halftime.
In addition to that, Peters connected with Stewart again on a 32-yard touchdown reception, further extending Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s advantage.
