1973 Ford F-100 Dually Conversion at No Reserve

This 1973 Ford F-Series truck is the result of a meticulous two-year custom build completed in 2024. The project combines the frame and cab of a 1973 F-100 with suspension and front body components sourced from a period F-600 model, creating a unique and robust vehicle.

Powering this custom truck is a 330ci V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a dually rear axle. The truck rides on polished 22.5″ Alcoa alloy wheels wrapped in 255/70 Pirelli FH15 tires, providing both style and performance.

Visually, the body is finished in a striking satin blue. The custom flatbed is crafted from burnt-wood planks, adding a classic yet refined touch. During the build, the cab was married with F-600 front-end panels, including the hood, grille, fenders, and side steps, all refinished in the same satin blue. Additional exterior features include a sliding rear window, a white-finished grille and front bumper, a chrome tail panel with LED taillights, and aftermarket halo-style taillights.

Inside, the cab offers comfort and modern convenience. Low-back SCAT Procar bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl flank the interior, complemented by black door panel inserts, black carpeting, and white-painted dash accents. A custom center console houses a wireless phone charger, a touchscreen stereo unit, a storage compartment, 12-volt power outlets, and cupholders. The Forever Sharp steering wheel frames an F-600-style instrument panel that includes a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, alternator status, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer reads 36,000 miles, with approximately 3,000 miles added under the current ownership.

The truck’s suspension was upgraded by modifying the F-100 frame with F-600 suspension components, ensuring enhanced handling and stability. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes. The dual exhaust system features SpinTech mufflers and side outlets, while the engine is topped with a blue-painted open-element air filter assembly and a two-barrel carburetor.

This modified Ford truck was previously offered on BaT in October 2025 and is now available again, this time with no reserve. It comes with a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name describing the vehicle as a 1973 Ford F-100. Notably, the truck is titled by the identification number F10YRR40368, which also appears on a warranty tag affixed to the cab with replacement rivets. The seller notes that there are no visible VIN markings on the frame.

This blend of classic styling, thoughtful customization, and practical upgrades makes this 1973 Ford F-Series truck a rare find for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
