Deputy Devon Miller responded to a call about a missing 86-year-old grandmother in Destin, Florida on September 25.

The elderly woman had been walking her son’s dog, who is named after the beloved “Winnie the Pooh” character, Eeyore. However, she had been gone far longer than usual, which prompted concern and the call for help.

As it turned out, Eeyore had been keeping an eye on her after she suffered a fall. The loyal dog stayed by her side, patiently waiting for assistance to arrive.
