With his acclaimed series *Stranger Things* coming to an end later this year, Emmy-nominated actor David Harbour is already setting up his future projects. Sources tell Deadline that Harbour is in negotiations to join Pedro Pascal in the Searchlight Pictures film *Behemoth*, written and directed by Tony Gilroy.

Searchlight recently came aboard the project, with plot details remaining under wraps. However, Gilroy has shared in interviews that the film centers around a cellist. Gilroy is also producing the project alongside Sanne Wohlenberg. Principal photography is slated to begin this fall in Los Angeles, with release plans to be announced at a later date.

Harbour is set to bring a close to his role as Jim Hopper, a character that has earned him two Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nod, as the final season of *Stranger Things* bows later this year.

Recently, Harbour wrapped production on the HBO limited series *DTF St. Louis*. He is also preparing for the sequel to the Universal action film *Violent Night*. Additionally, the Tony nominee was seen in the Marvel film *Thunderbolts*, which premiered in May.
