**Ameesha Patel Opens Up About Friendship with Hrithik Roshan and His Early Self-Doubt**

Ameesha Patel, who made her debut alongside Hrithik Roshan in the blockbuster *Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai* (2000), recently shared insights into their friendship and Hrithik’s initial struggles with self-doubt.
In a candid conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Patel revealed how their destinies were intertwined long before they both became stars. “Hrithik was always full of self-doubt. He used to wonder if he’d ever become a star,” she said.
### Early Encouragement
Patel took the initiative in encouraging Hrithik from the very beginning. “I was the one who started calling him,” she recalled. “From day one, I told him, ‘You’re going to be huge. You are a star.’ I had no doubts about him.”
She also shared a touching detail about their bond: “I was the one who started calling him ‘Greek God.’ I’d tell him, ‘You’re here to stay. You’re going to kill it.’ But he’d always be like, ‘No, this isn’t right. That’s not good enough.’”
### Hrithik’s Meticulous Nature
Patel also spoke about Hrithik’s discipline and attention to detail. She revealed that Roshan maintained a detailed diary pertaining to his body and health — documenting everything meticulously. “He used to write down everything so that if he ever went to a doctor, he’d have it all documented. He’s so meticulous and such a perfectionist,” she added.

On the work front, Patel recently made a successful comeback with *Gadar 2*, while Hrithik Roshan was last seen in *War 2.* Fans eagerly await their next projects, hoping to see more of the magic that first brought them together on screen.
