Hamas said it was willing to release hostages according to the plan`s `formula,` likely referring to the release of Palestinian prisoners. It also reiterated its longstanding openness to handing power over to a politically independent Palestinian body.
The US president expressed that he is looking forward to having the hostages come home to their parents, and also recognized the hostages who won’t come back alive.
It is unclear whether or not Trump will enforce the “three or four days” deadline he had previously set.
