“you gotta earn it”- Glen Powell shares how fans can make the release of Chad Powers season 2 possible

**Chad Powers Season 2 Updates: What Fans Need to Know**

The first season of *Chad Powers* left viewers on a thrilling cliffhanger, intensifying anticipation for season 2. Glen Powell’s character, Russ Holliday, faced immense challenges living as the titular Chad Powers while concealing his true identity. His difficult journey back to football involved hiding behind prosthetics and adopting a fake persona to play again. However, by the end of season 1, things became even more complicated, leaving fans wondering about the future of Russ’s sporting career and the fate of Chad Powers.

### Glen Powell on What It Takes to Make Season 2 Happen

As fans eagerly await news on the release of season 2, Glen Powell recently shared what viewers can do to help bring the next season to life. In an interview with ClutchPoints, he emphasized the role of audience support, stating:

> “You gotta earn your championship, man; you gotta earn it. So, tell everybody to watch Season 1, and hopefully, we’ll get a Season 2.”

Powell reiterated this message in another conversation, explaining the importance of viewership numbers:

> “Well, I think you gotta just tell everybody to watch Season 1 — that’s how the world works. You gotta get enough eyeballs on Season 1 to get a Season 2.”

This clearly indicates that the fate of *Chad Powers* season 2 heavily depends on the viewership response to the first installment.

### Status of Chad Powers Season 2 as of November 2025

As of November 6, 2025, Hulu has yet to officially renew *Chad Powers* for a second season. With many unresolved questions surrounding Russ/Chad’s story and other key characters like Ricky and Coach Hudson, fans have plenty of reasons to hope for a continuation.

A second season would offer opportunities to further explore these characters’ unique journeys and delve deeper into the show’s intense narrative.

### Behind the Scenes: Plans for Season 2 and Beyond

While the renewal decision is still pending, the creative team behind *Chad Powers* has hinted at exciting plans if a second season comes to fruition.

Glen Powell shared with ClutchPoints:

> “We have a really strong idea of what we’d want to do in Season 2 and 3. We have an amazing arc to the whole journey, but you know that’s up to the people to decide.”

Showrunner Michael Waldron also offered insight into the future of the series in an interview with *The Hollywood Reporter*:

> “We’ve certainly talked about it — talked about a plan. [Hulu] has a sense of where we’d like to take it. Ultimately, we have to see how the show performs, but everybody knows Glen and I want to see this thing through to the end. There’s a lot more story left to tell, so I hope we get to do it.”

Waldron added:

> “When you get to the end of the first season, it feels like we’re just getting started. Ricky is now pulled into this alliance and now we can get into our Empire Strikes Back chapter of this trilogy. I hope we get to keep it going.”

These comments suggest that while preparations and story arcs for seasons 2 and 3 are well underway, the show’s continuation hinges on its overall performance and viewer engagement.

### How to Support *Chad Powers* and Stay Updated

If you want to see *Chad Powers* return for season 2, the best way to help is by watching and promoting season 1. Sharing the series with friends and on social media can boost viewership numbers, increasing the chances of renewal.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available. In the meantime, catch up on every episode of *Chad Powers* season 1 exclusively on Hulu.

Joe Buck better not try selling the Cowboys to Chris Russo

Just because most people continue to care about the Dallas Cowboys doesn’t mean Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo wants to be subjected to them on national television.

The Cowboys may have made a big splash at the trade deadline, landing Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets. But it doesn’t change the fact that Dallas is 3-5-1, with a defense likely to remain one of the worst in football — even with Williams.

Despite entering the season with low expectations and playing to them, America’s Team still has six national games left on its schedule. It all starts Nov. 17, when the Cowboys will play their third Monday Night Football game in three weeks on ESPN.

Russo is already warning Joe Buck not to try to sell anyone on the Cowboys’ playoff chances.

“Joe, in two weeks, I don’t want to hear about chances that Dallas has to make the playoffs when you have the Raiders game the next time we see Dallas at 3-5-1,” Russo ranted Wednesday morning on *First Take*. “Did you see this Dallas schedule? Did you see this on television, what I gotta put up with? A Monday night game against the Raiders, I know they’re gonna get ratings, it’s on ESPN, so I gotta be nice, I know they’re gonna get ratings, but who cares about the Dallas Cowboys and the Raiders game?”

We’re just one week removed from Stephen A. Smith being on *First Take* and claiming the Cowboys were a championship contender — and that was after a loss!

Maybe Buck won’t go that far in selling the Cowboys to the audience. But he doesn’t have to. Because whether they’re good or bad, the Cowboys stay relevant.

“And then I gotta eat my turkey with the Chiefs! I know Mahomes is fun, but Dallas stinks!” Russo continued. “And then on top of that, to make Al Michaels happy, Goodell sent him to Detroit — that’s a Thursday night game!”

The Cowboys could lose their next two games, limp into Thanksgiving Day against the Chiefs at 3-7-1, and the CBS broadcast would still probably become the most-watched regular-season game in NFL history — with or without Russo’s support.

When the Cowboys are on national TV, people watch. Don’t blame the NFL or the networks for putting the Cowboys in the spotlight even when they’re bad. Blame the people who keep watching.

Bangor girls soccer wins third-straight A North title over Camden Hills

**Bangor Girls Soccer Advances to Class A State Championship with 4-1 Victory Over Camden Hills**

Bangor girls soccer coach Jay Kemble knew the Class A North final against Camden Hills was going to be a battle. However, after watching his team practice on Monday, he was confident they were in the right mindset.

“They were really loose,” Kemble said. “They were having fun out here. They just had that right energy that you want them to have going into a game like tonight.”

The defending state champions showed they were ready from the start, scoring just 42 seconds into the match and never trailing en route to a 4-1 victory over the second-seeded Windjammers. This marked the third straight year these squads have met in the regional final, with No. 1 Bangor winning all three matchups.

Senior Gabby Roy led the way for the Rams, scoring twice in the first half. Sophomore Georgie Stephenson added a goal in the 47th minute with a left-footed shot off the right post before assisting junior Gabby Gordon for a goal in the 51st minute. Camden Hills’ lone goal came from freshman Elsa Schwalm in the 11th minute.

With this win, Bangor advances to the Class A state championship game against Scarborough at Messalonskee High School. The match is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, marking the third consecutive Class A final showdown between the Rams and the Red Storm.

Camden Hills came into the game riding an impressive six-game shutout streak. The Windjammers finish their season with a 15-2 record, with both losses handed to them by Bangor.

“We’ve got goal scorers,” Kemble said. “We had talked about the overload that Camden does defensively to take away our right side, so we had to switch the field and get the ball to the backside, hoping that they were open. Gabby Roy has such tremendous speed and athleticism that she was able to get the ball.”

Junior Emily Caulkins made six saves for Bangor, while freshman Eliza Gallant recorded three saves for Camden Hills.

‘Not a politician’ Max Verstappen picked as the favorite for the title by Bernie Ecclestone

Four-time F1 champion Max Verstappen has been steadily reducing the gap to the championship leaders since the summer break and is now just 36 points behind Lando Norris. Amid the Dutchman’s recent surge in performance, former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has picked Verstappen as the favorite for the 2025 title.

As the new season unfolded, Red Bull found themselves overtaken in the performance index by McLaren, which allowed Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to sprint ahead in the championship battle. Verstappen started the Dutch Grand Prix over 100 points behind Piastri. However, the upgrades Red Bull introduced during the latter races of the European stage brought Verstappen back into contention. Since then, Max has not finished off the podium.

Despite Lando Norris winning last weekend’s race in Mexico, Verstappen remains a strong favorite for the championship. Bernie Ecclestone highlighted Verstappen’s impressive track record at the Brazilian Grand Prix, calling it a “happy hunting ground” for the Dutch driver and predicting a likely victory there.

“I think Max will win and make it again! He has the special, the extraordinary. And the next race is Brazil—the weather is changeable, even with rain,” Ecclestone said.

Ecclestone also acknowledged that while Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are both talented drivers and McLaren has a great car, they are still no match for Verstappen.

“But Verstappen is the special one, the best racer, not a politician, but a real racing driver,” he added.

In the last six races, Verstappen has won three and finished on the podium in the other three, underlining his consistent form.

**“It’s in his hands”: Former F1 driver on Verstappen’s path to the 2025 title**

With four races remaining in the season, Verstappen needs to outscore Lando Norris by an average of nine points per race weekend to claim the championship. These final four weekends include two Sprint race events, adding to the challenge.

Former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer weighed in on how Verstappen might approach the final races.

“If he wins in Brazil, I think it will be in the balance. If he can win there, the gap will be less than 30 points. Vegas is going to be the big opportunity where you’ve got Mercedes, who will be quick. They’re always quick in Vegas. Ferrari is a wild card. McLaren could easily end up being sixth and seventh.

If you’re Max now with four races to go, you’ve got to just think, ‘let’s get the gap as close as it can be for Abu Dhabi,’ and then the pressure is on McLaren,” Palmer explained.

If Verstappen manages to clinch the 2025 title, it would mark the biggest points gap ever closed by a driver to win the F1 championship.

UFC champ Tom Aspinall still struggling to see after controversial eye poke: ‘It’s bad’

UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall still cannot see out of one eye after suffering a double eye poke in his controversial championship bout against Ciryl Gane on October 25.

“(The doctor) said it’s bad, not good. His eye is a little bit more closed than it was. His right eye still can’t see anything. Said it’s gray,” Aspinall’s father, Andy, revealed Tuesday in a YouTube video.

“He was tested on words, and he just couldn’t see anything. His left eye is about 50 percent. He got through about four letters on the eye chart and then just couldn’t see any more. So one eye is really, really blurry, and the other still isn’t functioning.”

The UFC 321 main event in Abu Dhabi this past weekend ended in a no contest after Gane accidentally poked Aspinall in both eyes late in the first round. Aspinall, 32, did not regain vision in his right eye during the mandatory five-minute medical break, which led officials to rule the match a no contest.

Fans expressed frustration and booed during Aspinall’s post-match interview inside the Octagon.

“Guys, I just got poked knuckle-deep in the eyeball. Why are you booing?” Aspinall (15-3) asked. “What am I supposed to do about it? I didn’t do the poke. I can’t see.”

Gane expressed remorse over the incident. UFC President Dana White also confirmed plans to book a rematch between the two fighters.

“I’m feeling sorry,” Gane said, according to the Associated Press. “I’m very sorry about that.”

Andy Aspinall added that while there is no tear in his son’s eye, the doctor warned the damage is “really bad.” Additional tests are scheduled for later this week to assess the full extent of the injury.

Expressing frustration with the sport’s rules, Andy criticized the lack of consequences for the fouling fighter compared to the lasting effects on his son.

“The guy who fouled him faces no consequence, and there’s a consequence to Tom. Hopefully, he’ll be alright, but it might not be,” Andy said at the start of his video.

As Tom Aspinall continues his recovery, fans and the MMA community await updates on his vision and the upcoming rematch with Ciryl Gane.

The Miz put up with a lot of “nonsense” in WWE during his early years, claims wrestling veteran (Exclusive)

Former wrestler and WWE trainer Bill DeMott recently shared his insights on The Miz’s rising popularity. Currently a prominent member of the SmackDown roster, The Miz had formed a powerful alliance with Carmelo Hayes over the past few months. The veteran wrestler helped Hayes sharpen his in-ring skills, creating a formidable tag team. However, tensions arose between the two stars, both known for their huge egos, leading to a dramatic fallout.

Two weeks ago, when Carmelo Hayes attempted to answer Sami Zayn’s United States Open Challenge, The Miz unexpectedly attacked him, preventing Carmelo from competing in the match.

During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Senior Editor Bill Apter, Bill DeMott reflected on witnessing The Miz carve out a name for himself in the wrestling business. He recalled how The Miz was initially dismissed as just an outsider and reality TV star but persevered to elevate his craft to become a two-time Grand Slam Champion and a respected backstage figure within WWE.

“I’ll say this. I’ve never claimed to train anyone, but I’ve always been thankful to have a hand in what they’ve done. The guy who’s at the top of my list is The Miz. He fought the good fight. He knew what he wanted to do. He put up with a lot of the nonsense, if you will, and he stayed with it. People thought he was a nothing, reality star. To me, he’s the hands-on top dog in the company right now. He’s the media guru, he’s the in-person guy, he’s with the kids, he’s in the movies, he’s on TV.”

Last week on SmackDown, The Miz answered Sami Zayn’s United States Championship Open Challenge. In a surprising turn, Carmelo Hayes attacked his former tag team partner, allowing Ilja Dragunov to step in and win the match, becoming the new US Champion.

Germany to face Spain in Women’s Nations League final after edging past France

CAEN, France (AP) — Germany will face defending champion Spain in the Women’s Nations League final next month, setting up a repeat of this year’s European Championship semifinal.

Germany advanced after a hard-fought 2-2 draw with France on Tuesday, progressing 3-2 on aggregate. Meanwhile, Spain secured their spot with a commanding 5-0 aggregate win over Sweden.

The final will be held over two legs, with Germany hosting Spain on November 28 before the return match takes place four days later at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.

France, having lost 1-0 in Germany on Friday, came back strongly in the semifinal second leg. Melvine Malard, starting in place of the injured Marie-Antoinette Katoto, headed in a cross in the third minute to give France an early lead. However, Nicole Anyomi equalized just nine minutes later, and Klara Bühl put Germany ahead with a precise angled drive early in the second half.

France’s Clara Mateo then headed in a cross from fellow substitute Kadidiatou Diani in the 89th minute, setting up a tense finale. Despite the pressure, Germany held on to secure their spot in the final.

Spain’s path was less nerve-wracking, having routed Sweden 4-0 at home on Friday. Two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas scored the only goal of the game in Sweden in the 75th minute, marking her third goal of the semifinal.

At Euro 2025, Spain defeated Germany 1-0, but the World Cup champion Germany went on to lose to England in the final.

“He does nothing for me if I fight him” – Denis Puric quick to dismiss potential Johan Ghazali grudge match

**‘The Bosnian Menace’ Denis Puric Shows No Interest in Facing ONE Teen Sensation Johan Ghazali**

Denis Puric, known as ‘The Bosnian Menace,’ has once again expressed no interest in facing ONE Championship’s teenage striking sensation, Johan Ghazali. The prospect of a generational showdown between the 40-year-old veteran and the 18-year-old phenom has been the subject of speculation for some time, fueled by their ongoing back-and-forth exchanges online.

Ghazali has been eager to step into the ring with Puric, but the Bosnian-Canadian warrior remains unfazed, making it clear he sees no benefit in taking on the young contender. In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post (SCMP), Puric bluntly explained his stance:

> “No, bro. I’m not f***ing looking at that kid. What is he doing for my career? He does nothing for me if I fight him; win or lose, it does nothing for me. I’m not looking at that kid, I’m looking to fight beasts. The beasts that I’ve been fighting.”

Puric’s words reflect his focus on battling the elite within the 135-pound striking division. Over the years, he has faced some of the best, including former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon. His upcoming fight is set for November 16 at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena, where he will take on Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa at ONE 173.

For Puric, Ghazali still has considerable ground to cover before earning a fight against him.

ONE 173 is shaping up to be the biggest event in ONE Championship history, featuring seven world titles on the line and a spectacular roster of bouts across multiple martial arts disciplines. Even seasoned veterans like Denis Puric are impressed by the caliber of this card.
