THE WOODFORD COUNTY WOMAN’S CLUB recently held its annual Coats and Shoes for Kids event. The project provides coats, shoes and socks to between 175-200 Woodford County Public School students each year. The project has taken a new direction by purchasing coats and shoes from Amazon. Students, with help from their resource teachers, select the coats and shoes they want. The teachers and the Coats and Shoes committee members meet, and the orders are placed.
