Before presenting the award, Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, introduced Khan as the “King of Arts.” He said, “The man whose smile crosses borders and whose dialogues have become part of our collective vocabulary receives his first award.”

Jaju further praised the actor’s journey, stating, “His journey from Delhi theater to global stardom is a story in itself. Main kaun hoon, kya hoon, ya sirf Jawan hoon — the answer is simple: he is not just a National Award winner but the King of Arts.”

Overwhelmed by the honor, Shah Rukh Khan blew a flying kiss in gratitude upon receiving the medal and certificate from President Draupadi Murmu. This memorable moment quickly went viral on social media, with fans flooding Twitter to celebrate the achievement.
